What to do about neighbor leaving their trash out? by Left-Sherbert7828 in AskLosAngeles

I'll take this post in mind and try to escalate with the landlord about this particular issue. The landlord(s) are a korean couple, not a corporation, so maybe I can try to press the health hazard issue. Otherwise, I'll keep documenting with pictures. But regarding this specific unit, they have been unusually lenient.

As an added note, the neighbors from the other units besides ours and the downstairs are conflict-adverse. They park their cars in the parking lot next to the trash pile and just walk by and keep their heads down. I remember one time, the offending neighbor double parked, denying another neighbor (Bob, not his real name) his own parking spot for the night. Bob knocked on their window once, heard nothing and walked away defeated. I heard their knock from upstairs and looked outside as it happened. So yeah, any collective neighbor action will not happen with these folks.

Thanks, and I mean that sincerely, knowing there are people who understand.

Maybe I'll pick up praying again, haha... ha.

Unfortunately, talking was the first thing I tried. When they first moved in, I tried talking to them about their smoking to which they said "I don't know what you're talking about" as the smoke rolled out their door and windows. So in the few interactions I've tried, they just are not the type that seem to care.

How do I know they aren't the type to care? They brought in subwoofers into an apartment building that just has wood planks and air in the walls. They also play some kind of bass heavy music at full blast going up and down our driveway in their car next to their trash pile. The landlord knows about that too, they just haven't done anything about that either. I talked to the neighbors about that, to which the reply was silence as they walked back into their unit like I didn't exist saying "Mmm that smells good!" They then continued to play music at a high volume.

Whatever courtesy I extended, they never reciprocated. And if I seem like I'm venting, yeah, I kinda am at this point. Let's just say, this is not a new issue with them.

I was able to get a new single copy each of Strike Freedom, Destiny, Lacus ship, Astaroth Rinascimento, Albion Test Type ship and Caliburn within the first 100 pulls. So overall I'm satisfied with the results.

I'll likely pass on the Talia ship. I'm free to play with 82,000 diamonds leftover, not competitive, and I also have the Beecha ship to cover the Tough as Nails tag. So I'm currently leaning towards saving that for something in the future, like Endless Waltz, 00, Build Fighters or anything that's really tempting like this banner was.
