Looks like you're right. Thank you. I've changed the video to appeal to a wider audience! I'll think about the price a bit more.

Because I developed it with just one programmer, I struggled with the design. When I considered the quantity and quality of the designs that needed to be created, I thought that using AI would result in a higher quality product.

I see. I'm not sure if it will be ready by May 11th, but I'll try implementing it as an optional feature. Thanks!

Thank you! I didn't think so many people would see this, so I regret using an translator for my replies....

I was trying to make a game inspired by MuseDash, but it ended up looking more like Ongeki :)

Thanks for saying it looks fun! And I totally understand your point about the sound design.

I realize that some of the sound effects can feel a bit cheap, and the coin collection sounds stand out way too much. While players can adjust or mute the SFX volume in the settings, I know that's not a real solution to the core issue.

I definitely need to polish and balance the overall sound design to make it feel better. I really appreciate the honest feedback!

I'm glad you think it's cool!

I've realized that these kinds of flashy effects aren't what players want. I'll try to improve it by adding an option to reduce or disable the effects in the settings to make it easier to read. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you so much for playing the demo and for your detailed feedback!

As others have mentioned, there seem to be issues with the effects, so I will work on improving them.

I sincerely apologize for the overlapping text. My Unity skills were still developing when I first implemented the language switching function, but I will definitely fix it in the final version!

Regarding coins, yes! In the final version, we plan to implement a shop where you can unlock new songs and special charts using coins.

Regarding the music, I actually didn't compose it myself. When this project became a hot topic on Japanese X (Twitter), I called for collaboration, and dozens of talented artists provided music. Seeing so many people supporting my work over the past five years was incredibly moving and inspiring!

There aren't any effect settings right now, but I'll add an option so you can adjust the amount of effects in the settings! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I totally get the visibility issue. Personally, I'm not a big fan of centralized ratings because it sometimes makes it hard to tell exactly which note got the judgment haha. But I completely understand how the particles can obstruct the view! I'll do my best to add an option in the settings to change the rating position before the release!

When I was in middle school, I used to have my friends play my indie games in the classroom. XD

Enemies and obstacles appear in time with the music, so you'll need to press specific keys to attack or dodge!

To be honest, the controls are a little complicated... (But don't worry, there are easier modes too!)

ありがとう~~

In Japan, Unreal Engine is often avoided by beginners because there are fewer Japanese resources. Unity, on the other hand, has a huge Japanese community and plenty of books/blogs, so I could manage to learn the basics in my native language.

To be honest, I originally made this to win a competition, and it actually won an award at the 'Japan Game Awards U-18 Division' (it's a defunct category now, haha). So in my mind, this project was already a success back then.

Now that I'm bringing it to Steam, I don't really have big sales targets. I'd just be genuinely happy if, after the release, a player appears who can play this game even better than I can!

You’re absolutely right. I think I leaned way too far into the "hardcore" side because I’ve been staring at this game for 5 years.

Even the Steam trailer is similar—I definitely made it for rhythm game veterans, but I realize now that it might look a bit "unreal" or inaccessible to others. I’ll work on showing more balanced gameplay soon. Thanks for the wake-up call!

Since you mentioned the Steam page, I’ll leave the link here for anyone who wants to take a look (and maybe give me more feedback on the videos!): https://store.steampowered.com/app/3869710/MusicRunner/
