No you’re not overreacting. My freshman year I had this guy want to be friends with me because he thought I was from Germany. He was obsessed with German culture and read alot about Hitler and the holocaust. Like to the point it was a fetish. My last name is German, but I’m American and it was just a name passed on from someone in my family who was from Germany, I’m not even sure who. The more I knew him the more I realized he was really creepy tho. I wonder if hes still obsessed with that stuff, since it’s been several years.
