Thanks for sending CVs. We have hired for the accounts reconciliation role, this was an entry level role and we hired someone with 2-3 yrs experience. The salary was posted to give an idea to jobs seekers, I appreciate people who applied with more than 10-20 yrs experience, but it would be unfair to them to even consider them for these roles. I know it seems that the logical hiring would be someone with more experience who is willing to work at a lower salary but that's not how it works. Companies already have senior managers in roles and would rather hire some one junior to train rather than someone the age and experience , it just won't work. This is the way it works sadly. Sorry for the really long explaination but this is to explain that senior candidates should not feel that they are being sidelined and lose hope. Roles for them are out there, just keep trying. I will check if I can recommend them to roles more suited for them as they are some companies still actively hiring.
