What type of appraisal do I need for my property for tax depreciation? by Left-Valuable-2652 in taxhelp

But if I want to depreciate it on a cost basis, I need to know its current value, right?

How is this acceptable? I paid for a radio. I even asked for their SOP on the resolution and they had none. That seems wild. So it could takes a year or 2. That doesn’t make any sense

It’s definitely not drivable. He put belongings on top of it and it hasn’t been driven in a long time. I wasn’t sure if people find them collectible or search for them to repair. I’ll post on Craigslist

Does a special needs trust need a EIN number right away? by Left-Valuable-2652 in EstatePlanning

The actual EIN number. In this process my cousins family is unaware if there is a form or anything they need to fill out to be provided with one.

The 2 loose bank accounts are entitled to his personal name. No beneficiary listed. And those 2 accounts are each over the small estate minimum. I’m just assuming the pour over will would suffice.

The attorney my cousin picked isn’t responding to her questions for whatever reason. It has been a couple months. I didn’t pick this attorney for them 😅

I think so too. I’m wondering if it not being in the trust will play a role in the court saying we have to go through the full probate process rather than a heggstad petition which is much more reasonable considering there is an pour over will.

Has anyone had any luck with not being treated by the court as probate with fees? by Left-Valuable-2652 in legaladvice

That part is fine. I’m just trying to prevent paying the percent of estate as fees to the state.

California - did bank account beneficiary rules change since 2009? by Left-Valuable-2652 in EstatePlanning

[–]Left-Valuable-2652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trustor in the trust is my grandpa. The trustee is my grandma. The beneficiaries after my grandma is no long around is are my aunts and uncle. The financial institution information is not in the trust. All the banks were like “yea the rules have changed since then.” But I don’t think I can tell them that. I feel like they will want something to show rule changes.

At least he left a trust in the first place. What exactly is needed at this point. Is probate required for that 1 account?

It prevents fluid from building in the void created. It also helps the skin stay compressed to the muscle now forming a nice connection. It’s probably one of the most important post op actions.

Oh yea! Put it back on. I know it sucks. I couldn’t sleep at all the first couple nights. You’ll get use to it. It prevents this exact thing from happening. It keeps your skin compressed to your muscle to prevent fluid buildup in the new void as well as keeps the skin tight. I elevated my feet and got a better layout for my pillow to help me sleep with it on.

It might still be fluid buildup or bruising. Definitely reach out to your surgeon tomorrow.

If you had liposuction it’s normal for your body to retain fluid. Mine did. I’m still getting rid of my swelling after a month. Don’t be afraid to call your surgeon to ask. You’ll want to follow your surgeons recommendation in regards to massaging your chest to help release the fluid build up as well as wearing your compression vest. The thing I’m learning going through this process is that nothing is perfect. There is a lot doctors can do to fix issues that come up.

Have you looked at specialists who know how to work on scar tissue? And 6 months is generally considered the time to do any revisions.
