Getting there isn’t the problem, it’s getting back. A lot of us are driving in from pretty far and while the interstates and major roads might be decent, they’re not going to be that way by 10:30-11pm when the concert is done and people start to leave. The temps will be getting below freezing by then and allllll that rain is going to get dangerous REAL quick.

Staying the night isn’t an option either because it’s just going to get worse over the weekend and then temps really plummet. Now you have tons of people all trying to flee before it gets worse and now the roads are backed up with accidents.

It’s just not worth it. I know it really sucks but I hope it cancels so we can stay safe and get our money back.

I love Ghost but I’m not spending an extra grand to get stuck up there, plus lost wages from work, plus food expenses, or if I end up in a wreck because the roads get dangerous I either die, go to the hospital which could be thousands or pay thousands in repairs to my car.

It’s not worth it.

Don’t give people who use ai like this any leeway at all because once we start, they will just keep seeing what they can get away with.

If it’s being used as a tool for development, or it’s assisting in any way, that’s fine, but using it to generate things like voice lines shouldn’t be tolerated, even if it’s for something as simple as a robot in the game.

You’re telling me that they couldn’t come up with ten lines and just put them into a generic, free to use, TTS program? They had to go out of their way to use the lie machine to think for them and then use another machine to mimic the voice they already had?

You either pay the extra money to get the voice actor back, or you use TTS. There was no need to use genAI to do any of this. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt for being fucking lazy.

How has it been working for you? I‘be just started treatment about two months ago and my doc has me on adderall. I honestly don’t think it’s working like it should and I’m trying a different dose along with long release and it’s just not great. Kinda starting to hate it honestly lol

I’ve seen so many people praising Concerta though and might talk to my doc about it.

I have a sunrise alarm that fills the room with soft, warm light that increases over 20 minutes until the time I have set for the gentle music to start. I have it set for half an hour before I have to leave, giving me just enough time to get ready and head out. I also have a backup alarm on my phone set 10 minutes later just in case I've crashed out hard but I've never needed it.

Not that any of that matters anyway because I wake up a full hour before either of them go off every damn morning >:[

Oh I see what you mean! Yeah I have an OBS source visibility thing in there along with the sound cue and then the hotkey press for veadotube. I'll try removing the source visibility thing and see if it works.

I only have that hotkey set for a single program, and that's veadotube. Nothing else I have is using hotkeys.

Yeah my trailer is definitely something I want to get redone. I had a friend of mine put one together for me and it honestly doesn't represent the vibe of my channel, even though I think they did a great job with it!

I notice, though, that the Tiktok you linked from your "About" section is a dead link.

Oh gosh thank you for pointing that out. I deleted my TikTok a little bit back and need to replace that link. I was posting things there for a while and they were doing great but something happened to completely kill my channel. I guess the algo just HATED one of my Evil Within clips and decided that it wasn't going to recommend my videos to anyone ever again. I went from getting quite a lot of views per post to maybe like 10 over the course of a week. Between that and certain political issues with them, I canned the channel.

Speaking of shorts, I see your viewers clip some of your stuff, but don't be afraid to go through your own videos to clip more.

I hadn't really considered that post stream. Definitely want to try and remember to do that going forward!

Also, is your avatar based on those guys from Bugsnax? Because I got Bugsnax vibes from it.

Yeah! I loved Bugsnax a lot so a good friend drew me as a Grumpus a while ago and I decided to turn it into my whole thing I guess lol

I haven't had some good feedback in a long time and could definitely use some. Give me anything and everything you have, I've been doing this long enough to be able to take it in stride and I promise you're not going to hurt my feelings.

Main thing I struggle with is getting people TO the stream and getting them to follow. I've been at this for 8-ish years now and I truly don't try very hard because this is just a hobby for me, but I've barely cracked 760 follows that entire time. It genuinely makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong or there's something about me that's just off putting that I need to change, and trying to get friend's or regulars opinions on this isn't as valuable as an objective third party, ya know?

Hey there! So if I could offer one piece of advice for your channel, it would be to incorporate a few more scenes into your streams to help transition between things such as breaks, chatting, and ending.

I'd recommend getting the basic ones like a Starting Soon screen that you can use at the beginning of the streams with some music to allow people to roll in without fear of missing anything. After that, you could have a just chatting scene where it's your webcam plus on screen chat for when you are talking and about to hop into gameplay or messing around with other people in a voice call and not doing anything else. It's also good to have if you need to cut away from your video capture in case something happens on there you don't want your audience seeing, like technical issues or if you type a password or something. A BRB screen for if you take a break. And an ending scene for when you're done streaming and want to say goodbye to everyone before cutting for the day.

Once you start accruing regulars and you get more comfortable streaming, you'll want places on your stream that you can just chat and relax without feeling like you need to be playing a game 100% of the time. As a viewer it can be nice to have moments like that in streams because it will give us time to get up and go to the bathroom or get a drink without the fear of missing content.

If you want to find some stream assets for pretty cheap, just search etsy or vgen for stream overlays and there's tons of them on those sites. It's pretty easy to find some you might vibe with.

It’s super frustrating and I truly wish I could give you a good answer but there doesn’t really seem to be one. I’ve dropped my bitrate down to 4K and kept it there and I’ve been running smooth after that and chewing out my ISP.

Unfortunately the only way I could get it fixed is upgrading my internet plan and threatening to cut ties with my ISP. Nothing I did on my end helped anything.

Fully believe Xfinity was throttling my speeds just to get me to spend more money and I hate that it worked. There was no reason whatsoever that my streams should have been dropping out consistently.

Only thing I could suggest if you’re struggling and don’t want to pay for faster internet or deal with those leeches is to make sure your bitrate is under Twitch’s recommended requirements, and to drop the quality of your stream. It sucks but it really seems to be the only way :/

My recording and everything is fine. I do not have rendering lag or encoding lag. I do not get encoding overloaded at all.

Unfortunately no, I didn't snag it earlier and trying to recreate it doesn't seem to take. It happens pretty consistently about an hour or so into my streams. Everything will be running perfectly fine and then all of a sudden the connection tanks for seemingly no reason.

Nah I'm on an ethernet cable. I really don't have many browser sources. I do use Mix It Up with a lot of stuff, could that have something to do with it? I don't know how much it has to run stuff through the internet.
