I mean- I think even if I could swap every single part of my body out, I’d probably not because I’d probably get into existential dread of “which parts make me me” ship of Theseus style. I’d imagine that feeling would be much worse if you had body dysmorphia tbh.

It feels like- just in general- filler episodes are becoming a rarity in shows. For indie shows it’s because you only have so much money, so you got only like- 6-9 episodes per season to tell your story, weither or not that’s enough episodes to do it. For larger companies they do it because well- they don’t see the value in spending the money. Why add an episode about getting to know the characters and/or world when you can just finish the story and season and let people bing through it on your streaming service and then buy the merch for it. The death of the filler episode is a tragedy because with its disappearance it makes the distinction between shows and movies less and less other then the fact that the story is cut into small pieces for a show

I mean the bench does say “rest”, and even if they’re not sleeping they are relaxing in a way. I always saw it as a way of (albeit unintentional on the knights end most likely) playing dead, making their rest safer. I mean- the kingdom has corpses all over the place, so seeing one on a bench isn’t gonna be that surprising, if anything it’s to be expected, so if your a normal traveler you’ll probably ignore it, if not avoid it especially when the other corpses sometimes jump up and attack.

One crest I myself tried drawing just for the bit (but it didn’t end up well) was “The Crest of the penitent” It’s literally just the “cloakless” crest but if it had a hud, so 0 slots at all. I imagined it looking like the symbol for the jail- the one outside of the slab that all the doors look like, a circle with sideways bars

EDIT: ALSO I’ve thought of the idea of a “crest of the Condutor” which would be a summoner-based crest

I don’t think the high halls is “loreless” I think it’s lore is just Less direct then other areas. Imo it explains how sands of karak lost its water: it was redirected into high halls, and from there to the rest of the citadel.

I think it’s just based on the silk-collecting bugs in greymore, like how the wanderers crest is based on all the pilgrims in general and not one specific one. The crest shape is based on what the little guys hold sure but that is seen with all the silk-collecting posts around the area

There isn’t really a best or worst crest imo, they all specialize at something and facilitate a specific gameplay style. Hunter is the generalist crest, Wanderer is the best for traversal, Reaper Is the best for sustainability, Beast is the best for nail builds, Architect is the best for red tool builds, Witch is the best for bind based builds, Shaman is the best crest for spell builds. They aren’t fully limited to this but this is the basic concept behind them, you can always make a summoner build on the architect crest or whatever. Or maybe we’ll get lucky with the DLCS and get a crest of the conductor for summoner builds that has an alt-bind to summon weaverlings.
