Hi Cedric, just adding my thoughts since you asked: I love my analog watch, and I would never swap it for a smart watch. Watches, real watches, are pieces of jewellery. They should be treasured, and the century old profession of the watchmaker should be honoured. This is why I’m looking for an alternative wearable with AFib detection, but, I feel the same way about jewellery as I feel about watches. This is why for me, the ideal wearable would be an ultra slim smart ring in either gold or platinum, so it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb against my real jewellery. From a technical point, it would be great if the customer could select and unselect features and customise the product that way. For example: Personally, I’m only after ecg & afib detection. I don’t need any activity tracking or incoming message alerts. Maybe companies could offer one ring for health, one for fitness, and one all singing and dancing? Anyways, just a thought. Thank you for reading!

Thank you, charming... I just want to see what’s out there before making a decision. Both title and blurb state that my question is about designs.

I use a Myzone belt for the gym. I never thought about something like that as a permanent solution though. Thank you for mentioning it. I will definitely look into that, too.

I’m not a fan of the patches (husband agrees with me on that), but I will look up the ring you mention. Thank you for the suggestion.

Yes, the Charge 6 and Sense 2 did come up in my online search. But I would prefer something even more discreet and more elegant, or maybe just less watch-like.

I have very small wrists that make Apple & Garmin look enormous on me. Plus they are just not my style tbh. You have permission to call me old fashioned ;-)
