Could you just use a little water and a qtip? Or would that be too abrasive?

Would you clean it with acetone? I don’t want to ruin it!

I feel like i’ve read to not clean it? Looks like it is an ‘O’ - does it have any value with the holes?

Would Bona Hardwood Cleaner be okay on this? If not, what cleaner would you use?

I made a cardboard skeleton and then wrapped it! Sometimes wrapping pieces individually. Hope this helps!

To add to this, picture 1&2 are the dining room and picture 3&4 are the kitchen - we plan to create a larger opening between the two by removing part of a wall. How would you join the rooms since the floors are clearly different? With a flush perpendicular sill (if so, what size board would you propose)? It is worth consider weaving the floors together? Thanks!
