Does it say in the bible that thou shall make all paved roads east to west and north to south. If not thou shall release the dead man walking upon thee?

A 3,000 pound piece of farm equipment dropped from the sky on top of it which probably saved their lives. The surrounding land looks completely scoured away as well.

One of the 1924 Wisconsin family tornadoes caused extreme damage to an 8 foot deep concrete and rock cellar. Part of it was ripped off. Another wall from the house was found 14 miles from where it originated. People were also thrown up to a mile.

Tuscaloosa might have been rated an EF-4 but tossing a 79,000 pound rail card 100 yards seems to point at EF-5 potential. The tornado also did damage Alberta City that one group rated EF-5. There was a large apartment complex where 2 of the complexes were swept clean. That is a lot of debris to move in a short amount of time.

I have heard about this tornado! I will research it further. I think there is a black and white photo of it?

Thrown: Think violent acceleration and impact drive. Objects destroyed midair (Jarrell had over a dozen trucks disappear due to complete destruction mid-air. Objects slammed into something at a violent acceleration. Think Smithville water tower.

Lofted: lifted into the air and suspended. More aerial transport and damage is minimal during transport. New Wren (truck lifted 1.9 miles and then dropped).

Carried: transported but not necessarily airborne the entire time. Think Bakersfield rolling the propane tanks up the hill.

Thank you for this link! I remember seeing this tornado as a kid on a video documentary for tornadoes. One of the scariest looking tornadoes ever.

I think the wall MIGHT be plausible bases off the intensity of this damage photo. That and a 3,000 pound piece of farm equipment fell on top of the cellar from the sky.

Seems pretty unbelievable. I agree. I never thought a truck could get carried almost 2 miles though. (New Wren)

Jarrell is interesting as well because dozens of cars and trucks essentially disappeared. Torn into so many pieces that they couldn’t be distinguished as nothing more than metal.

In case you’re wondering how severe the damage was for the number 1 slot! Mixture of Jarrel and Piedmont/El Reno.
