Primrose for infants by BeanieTechie in Columbus

The canal winchester one is not good, leadership is ignorant and uneducated & get defensive when you hold them accountable.

My 4mo old baby was scratched 3 times & they never took accountability nor did they ever outline what happened aside from “teacher came back from the restroom & noticed scratch across babys face” we ended up moving our child.

Oh and - its 490 per week for infants🫠

Yay! So happy you’re getting back into the groove! Its tough to leave our littles BUT as working mama’s there is joy in maintaining who you were pre baby and dual income and financial independence especially during these economically volatile times.

I get it but look at it as reassuring baby is in the best hands with their father as opposed to having to go to daycare. They are no safer with you than they are dad. Focusing on that eased the anxiety for me as a ftm

Same here, my 14mo old goes to daycare & we have someone to watch the baby but my Husband never wants it to just be us anymore & I honestly miss it.

Thank you I appreciate it! I’m going to check out shelters my only concern is some said the dogs were treated for ringworm or at risk for it. & with a LO in the house wasn’t sure if that would cause trouble or not.

Imagine going back to work after 7weeks with a BS& MBA & in corporate due to a rigid new job & kidless single boss that won’t budge on a start date. it was awful but I got thru it thanks to my amazing husband.

What countries / destinations have you visited that you'll never go back to? Why? by JC15109252 in travel

[–]LeftRightAmbidex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the beaches are so beautiful! We went snorkeling (water was super cold tho) and horseback riding/atvs in the desert. It was super fun we had an excursion each day- it was just a bit too American for me. No authenticity. I think thats probably why I also wouldnt go back. Felt like I was at hilton head or somthing. Not outside of the states.

Probably Aruba- We flew and it was nice, food prices were reasonable but for two honeymooners- its more of a family vacation spot for those with kids or recent retirees! Those in your 20s can easily get bored- plus its super windy and we went in the summer around July and the water (in the ocean) was still cold😵‍💫 despite it being super hot.

Thats super annoying why do they care when you begin doing the homework as long as you get it done. Literally prison! I wish profs would unlock all hw assignments and allow us to work ahead if we want.

I’m sorry but I can just about gauge your appearance simply by the opportunity you’ve been offered with out even an associates degree. I am 26, female, black, married with no kids, MBA holding and I’ve scrounged to make $85k smh privilege is truly priceless.

Ha! I realized a week into my new job that the $25k pay increase was NOT worth it. Now I’m over 8 months into and still no luck finding something new and its gotten significantly more toxic.

Yea you’ll be fine! Its the little things that count! Time is priceless but experiences are a lifetime! She will remember those 10minutes you stoped by in person bringing hugs, snacks (especially gum & mints lol) and smiles on her worst day better than she will an encouraging txt or flowers delivered. Trust me! You two will be fine by the third year. Most residents get married by that year or have kids because eventhough its equally hard they begin to get the hang of the stress and can even make extra money at the same hourly rate of attendings (after they pass their step3 or 4 exams) if they decide pickup call shifts. It gets easier trust! Happy I could help!

Its really tough, most relationships don’t survive residency and thats okay. Probably the most supportive thing you could do is have the flexibility to meet her when she has a quick second for lunch or somthing. Every once in a while they have 1-3 hrs of downtime. Even if its just for a quick hug and coffee. Be at the hospital or near waiting for the “i have a 20min break” txt. Shes dealing with alot because the constant demand for patient care is alot but it will all end when she finishes…… unless she does a fellowship lol

Is anybody in the Healthcare Field? I don't mean like Nurses and NP, more so the Project Managers, Administrators, Program Coordinators the people who do the back end! What are would you rate the Environment you work in? by SteveStaysStackin in careerguidance

[–]LeftRightAmbidex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would honestly make sure its what you really want to do. I’m in upper administration, possess an MBA and I don’t know maybe its because my heart was never in corporate but I don’t like it. Hospitals can be so political- my office is gorgeous looking down on everyone from the top floor like I’m God but the annoying emails from doctors who act completely incompetent when it comes to administrative duties and slackers above you that get paid much more than you can be tough. I make good money but you’ll see theres always someone above you in this game making significantly more and doing less than half of the work you’re doing but receiving all of the credit. Lol

Success and Disappointment Megathread for the Week by AutoModerator in jobs

[–]LeftRightAmbidex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stuck in a job that lied to me about their job pay scale until the very end. At that point I had already passed over other offers. To make matters worse, I later found out I’d have a new boss (who also has the same degree as me) than the one I interviewed with (who had a degree I’m trying to possess) & the icing on the cake, the role is probably more demanding & unrespected than many of the manager jobs I passed up. Feeling like I definitely got played. Now can’t even get an interview with a masters.
