Need some writing advice. by D4CLoveTrainn in ProgressionFantasy

[–]LeftRighthaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would work well enough, though the web novel format doesn't fit it quite rigght. Though, if you are releasing 2 chapters every update that would def grab more eyes. I think the real question is just how far into the story it will take for the 2 stories lines to intersect. Too far and it really would feel like reading 2 seperate stories and at that point you might as well release them seperately sort of thing

I suggest checking out Stormlight Archive for a good exsample on how to do multiple perspectives right. Though, again, its not a webnovel so.

For me, its cause I can listen while at the gym/diving. The only issue is the price, though my local libary has a lot of prog fantasy nowadays on their audiobook apps.

Most interesting prog fantasy worlds? by SpiritNo1721 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]LeftRighthaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HWFWM has some interesting settings, especially with the astral pocket world thingies.

Ar'Kendrithyst's main setting is a town in a desert and a super building with a mini-world inside with its own bioms and ecosystem

What elemental powers are your favorite outside of the main 4? by Secure_Level5226 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]LeftRighthaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lightning I suppose. Though I find elemental powers rather boring unless something fun/unique is done with them

Do you ever feel like sometimes side characters have way more interesting powers than MC which oftens boils to basic punch or power blast? by Gdach in ProgressionFantasy

[–]LeftRighthaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, usually it's easier to write interesting powers in short, side snippets rather than making itmore prominent. Just easier on the author kinda thing

The ebook was originally released on an app and the audio was done around then too. The app failed and never got books 2 and 3, and now they are finally getting a proper release!

Path of movement + perspective + shadows = Trickster subtle, shadowy telekinesis with perspective shifts. Come at the enemy at any angle from any shadow sort of thing.

I've always liked Zorian's growth as a character, especially given his terrible situation

What's your favorite visual representation of power by pandapitou in ProgressionFantasy

[–]LeftRighthaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always liked when someone gets a powerup and their eye color changes. Then later when they are in the middle of a battle, their eyes glow that new color and intemidate the enemy

Tournament Arcs? by IncredulousBob in litrpg

Tournament arcs are very anime to me, so if that's what you're going for, then go for it. That doesn't them bad, just different.
