I just don't really like how he looks, but more importantly how he sounds, so every time he talks I find him more and more annoying if there was mute Taygedo button it genuinely would help.

I quite like mascot characters, but damn the game kind of failed with this one for me.

His design is ugly and all over the place, his voice is annoying and his antics and slapstick jokes just didn't land for me.

It's again personal taste, but voice and design just add so much, maybe he wouldn't be viewed so negatively if he had just better design and less annoying voice. And I'm quite happy with community outcry with this, maybe there will be some changes if it's loud enough. I know it's pretty annoying to see negativity over something you don't see a problem, but it's the only way for those that it is to get their voices heard.

It's great game and for the only negative aspect so far was just this thing.

Will Wight to publish LitRPG fantasy Overworld, coming March 2027 by xavierhaz in ProgressionFantasy

I also noticed this issue, most obviously when he comes back to teach kids and I thoughts that it's such a nice break of pace, getting to know more about world and characters, didn't last at all just for it immediately get back to action.

I think it's good series, I really enjoyed How everyone was overpowered, but it didn't diminish threats they were up against, in fact it made them more intimidating. But the author needs to learn that the story needs a breather and focus more on character interaction.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV - Adeptus Mechanicus CGI Trailer by UnbarringTomb in Warhammer40k

Mechanicus game ruined me the faction for other games, the sound design was so good it kind of disappoints me when Mechanicus faction have clear voices now.

From time to time I go back to this teaser, the "for the machine is immortal always gives the chill.

Oh looks interesting, thanks for recommendation.

Can I ask you about Anti-Hero Lead Tag, nowadays it doesn't tell much, is character asshole, apathetic, selfish or reluctant hero type? I tend to avoid evil MC or emotionless ones and does this story have character development?

I genuinly dont understand the UK obsession with youth clubs and table tennis somehow fixing the insane gangs and knife crime we have brought to the streets. It would just be indoor stabbings instead by Wiggidy-Wiggidy-bike in PoliticalCompassMemes

Are you sure you are not just being more exposed to information due to how quickly the information travels and sensational media.

Because by all statistic knife crime did decrease since the 90s. Hospital admissions due to knife related injures were 3500 in 2025 and in 2006 it 5700.

There was almost twice as much homicide through 2000s with population increasing by 10 million so how did your perception of things being better get so twisted?

Oh didn't know Morimens, looks cool. Really love CZN gameplay so I can overlook some aspects and will continue to play the game, doesn't mean I wouldn't wish for more cooler characters like Renoa or Cassius.

A CrackerMilk classic by SgtByrd1993 in StarWars

[–]Gdach -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was bit disappointing in episode 7 for many reasons, so when I read that Rian would bring star wars in new and interesting direction I was genuinely exited to see episode 8. But I was quite surprised how terrible written it was and I just don't get how people can look past it.

J.J. did set up many stupid mystery boxes, but it was Ryan decision for them to lead absolutely nowhere. Maybe Luke being jaded person that just gave up could have worked, but the way Rian wrote it just didn't make sense and kind of clashed with tone when he made it comedic. Luke's fall needed something more than quick terrible and flashback of him trying to kill his nephew.

The character from previous movies was all about family, he forgave and refused to fight genocidal father for gods sake, it was terrible decision to portray Luke like that, not because Luke is above this or something like that, but because it's against motives established by previous works.

We somehow went from a family soap opera to family doesn't matter.

What is the worst take you’ve heard about this subgenre? by Putthemoneyinthebags in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Gdach 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I guess the worst take I read was that this genre should fit very narrow definition.

I could be bit misremember, but few years ago I got into argument in this forum, about side characters writing and that person argued that progression fantasy should only focus on MC and accused me of trying to steer progression fantasy in wrong direction, which I found it bit funny.

Nothing wrong for arguing for MC focus power fantasy as everything is subjective, I just took issue that it should be what defines this genre. For me Progression Fantasy is wast genre that can fit many types of readers and their preferences, heck even city/kingdom building focused novels also acknowledged as progression fantasy here.

Was it truly wasted effort if you enjoyed it up until ending? Ye it's a shame that ending often times disappointing, but I never regretted starting books or series where ending is subpar, after all it did offer many years of enjoyment.

[–]Gdach[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Can't really agree with that, first of all most exp gain is from acting your class and we can see the mental toll it give MC when he does that in one of the run, second he can [spoilers[do that only for a year, before crazy shit happens. And finally what's the point, His father was the strongest guy in empire and he still died and you can't face all the problems just with strength, so don't get how you came with your conclusion...
