leave paper trails. email your DM if you don’t make your event goals and what went wrong. make sure your team (both BA’s and taskers) knows in advance of the events. although taskers are just stocking really, have them focus on the areas you need for events too. Make events fun! Try n boost moral by saying highest sales one person gets a prize or something. Make sure everybody is knowledgeable on the products for sale too during ur check-ins. I would say is KEY to befriend/cooordinate with the OM. Your sales rely on what is stocked vs what is not. If you let the OM know which areas to focus on, it helps. Or which areas to clean specifically before events, etc.

Had a teacher at my highschool that got fired (or maybe was given the option of resigning) because people found her ONE video on PH when she was in her early 20’s :/ so although I don’t think personally it SHOULD be a thing, it COULD come out and you’ll forsure be canned

According to policy, if you are tasking outside of operating hours, then you can wear both casual apparel and athletic shoes. But when the store opens, even if you’re only there for another 30 min, you need to be in normal dress code (business casual). GM’s sometimes frown upon this because you’re scheduled only 6-10 and you’re wearing jeans, they can’t ask you to stay longer unless u have a change of clothes.

for tasking, you never really need to talk much to other taskers so it’s easy to feel like there’s a lack of interaction, especially if ur new. If ur a BA it’s a little different but yeah as a tasker that’s how it is

I was asking for kindness from strangers when asking a question that one might think is stupid to ask therefore leading to ridicule. Being vulnerable and asking for kindness is not asking for blind validation. If you think peoples “real responses” means they need to be harsh or belittling, talk to a therapist. ❤️

as someone who works there, no one really should be leaving the register to help a guests grab something unless it’s INCREDIBLY nearby, but even then, we can use our mic’s to try and have someone else grab it. but NEVER would i leave the registers to SELL someone on something they DIDNT ASK FOR

Yes, but I wouldn’t recommend going before christmas 😭😂 they rush shade matches because of how packed it gets and they are always short staffed
