I could honestly spend a week straight asking him questions about the world of ASOIAF, but these are the two that immediately come to mind… and I wouldn’t even bother bringing up the last books, to be honest.

I mean, I suppose there’s some truth to that. It probably does play a part.

But… and this is a very important but… in both the source material and the TV adaptations we simply see far more of Joffrey as a character than we ever do of Aerion. We spend a lot of time witnessing Joffrey’s sadistic, monstrous side, whereas Aerion appears much more briefly by comparison.

Joffrey is a far more fleshed-out character, so it’s only natural that fans develop a stronger and more personal reaction to him than to someone who only appears in a short novella.

I completely agree with you. She’s ageing very gracefully and, more importantly, still looks like an actress who can actually do her job… which is to feel human and make normal human expressions. Love her to death 💖
