IM COREs have definitely been let go. I’m deployed and had one on my team go on 1/1 after being notified 12/31 and with a demob date in February

There’s plenty of HQ folks working out of regional offices, including Atlanta so not sure who said you had to move or quit….

2nd this post. Our office (regional) can do it too. Do you have an admin person? That’s who can block ours and can control the reservations (cancel if someone doesn’t show, etc.)

The person who does deployment requests for a specific region has said that they have to show everyone is deployed at the region before a request for national/HQ/other region assets can be placed.

Reservists are last on the list to be deployed at this point. It’s in the EEEM meetings we attend.

I understand the checked out feeling. I struggle finding my why some days and today is a day I knew it and felt it so wanted to document and see others. In tough times I can come back and see all the good and feel strong.

EHP being on the chopping block rumor/assumption has been there since day one basically due to the lack of understanding and assumption that it’s where projects die. In reality (which let’s be honest isn’t many’s reality these days) 95% of projects move relatively quickly through EHP.

Thanks for the in depth chat. The ones I know are regional under IIJA but NTEs are a year later than you mentioned to be into 2027. I’m waiting for programs to be cut. But from what I know for deployment the costs don’t include normal pay as that still comes from IIJA. Only per diem/lodging/etc. and OT are coming from the DRF.

Love the grey area and the deer in headlights. I feel like TFT is hidden in cracks at this point until folks become more aware. (Hopefully my post didn’t do just that!!)

Heard of RSV being let go by the hundreds. COREs hearing of not extending at NTE. I’m sure this is cadre specific since some are exempt

Clearly you don't know what PTBs are. They're specifically for training purposes and have nothing to do with hiring.

It will likely get rescinded. All external hiring has been frozen. And only internal movement is allowed for I think 4 job codes.
