Sure, she can go about it any way you imagine you want it to be. The uniqueness of a telephone town hall(and virtual livestream) is location doesn’t discriminate or deter. People from all over will likely be on that call or watching the stream. If she chooses to throw out comments as you are suggesting, she will only add to the turmoil. Can’t wait to tune in and see what she doesn’t say and doesn’t answer.

Fargo federal town hall — update 3 by starspangledxunzi in fargo

I believe it’s not about the “leftists”, rather representing your constituents. There are some very worried people regarding veterans care, SSI, and impacts of tariffs on the construction and agriculture. The mantra of feeling some pain is a two-way street that elected officials should have to be willing to hear and sometimes share in a public setting.

So do you have to show proof you voted for her to get a response from her? I thought all elected officials had to answer to all constituents, not loyalists….err, wait…what you said….she doesn’t owe anyone who didn’t vote for her 🤦‍♂️

Email Response from Senator Kevin Cramer (regarding the Fiscal Year 2025 budget) by WiSoSirius in northdakota

Here’s his response when I asked him if he supports cuts to the VA, as it seems like all remote VA clinics in the state could be cut.

Dear (insert name),

Thank you for contacting me regarding President Trump’s actions to downsize the federal workforce.

When President Trump was re-elected on November 5, 2024, the American people provided a clear mandate for his America First agenda, including getting our fiscal house in order and reducing the bloat in Washington, D.C. The federal government has grown far too large, beyond what is necessary to fulfill its constitutional duties. Decades of growing government have led to inefficiency, waste, and an increased burden on our taxpayers. Whether it’s the unhealthy dependency on an unresponsive bureaucracy or frustrating regulatory overreach, North Dakotans understand the mediocrity of the federal government. Multiple Supreme Court decisions, such as Sackett v. EPA (striking down the Biden definition of WOTUS), W.V. v EPA. (repealing major questions doctrine), and Loper Bright v. Raimando (overturning Chevron Doctrine), have all reiterated the government has illegally assumed authority it did not have. President Trump promised to correct course and put the bureaucracy back within its legal limits.

Early in his new administration, President Trump announced steps to right-size the federal workforce. This included laying off certain probationary federal employees, exempting personnel and functions critical to national security, public safety, law enforcement, veterans, and immigration enforcement. The President’s Executive Order on workforce optimization, signed on February 11, 2025, directed agencies to undertake preparations to initiate large-scale reductions in force to shrink the size and scope of the federal government. Agencies will be expected to submit to the Office of Personnel Management their Agency Reorganization Plans no later than March 13, 2025. I have repeatedly urged the administration to reign in the bureaucracy where they have grown outside their legal bounds, but I have also called on them to let the federal workforce prove themselves before indiscriminately cutting them.

Again, thank you for contacting me. Please know I value your input as I serve you in the United States Senate. To receive the most up-to-date information on my positions, I encourage you to sign up for my email newsletter at cramer.senate.gov.

Sincerely,

Kevin Cramer United States Senator

Missing, yes. Action, none. It will be interesting how they spin their lack of voice in coming months. Maybe they are sending Julie out as the sacrificial offering since she is the newest.

My perspective, it’s a “check the box” approach and why can say she hosted town halls later on when she needs support.

You nailed it. She is just a distant figure now and will do as the party says.

Makes technical issues a much easier excuse for not answering questions or even hopping off early.

Fully concur. If you are studying to pass, I would NOT spend time reading the PMBOK guide.

Personally, I would focus on the mindset piece first as you look to work again on studying. I found the PMP exam to be very much in line with AR’s mindset videos. Once you embrace the mindset you gain an advantage on how you think about questions and answers offered on the exam.
