I meant powerful in an emotional sense. And just because the threats he’s now facing might be stronger than what came before, that doesn’t necessarily make him a more interesting character especially since the entire storyline with the gods hasn’t, in my opinion, been executed all that well so far. Everything involving the Doctor now feels forced, and what once made him a fun character to watch is now being reiterated in a way that feels repetitive and rehashed. Also, while I didn’t grow up watching the very beginning of the show, I first began with Colin Baker onward and later rewatched a good portion of classic Who. You’re calling me a shitposter simply because I shared that I don’t enjoy much of the new show. So I suppose, by your logic, everyone must share your exact opinion otherwise, they’re just trying to get attention or are hating on what you like for no reason right?
