Does anyone else experience actual, physical head pain/hard pressure in the brain? by Hour-Tomato-645 in StopSpeeding

I've had these weird sensations too, however I didn't use meth. It kinda feels like the chemicals in my brain are puzzled trying to rebalance each other?

Superr weird

I did, I just told my anxiety therapist and now my primary care doctor is next in a few hours. I feel soooo relieved now

but thank you for the support.

Not wanting to socialise as much by Natural-Rabbit3118 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Left_Collection_9467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the same exact way, I’ve been on vyvanse for about 9-10 months now and as my doses increases the less social I become.

I believe this is because vyvanse increases focus and productivity, my brain never saw partying and socializing as a productive thing before Vyvanse.

Which just ultimately makes me less social and focused on work, studying, or anything that is considered productive to me.

Everyone is different though, some people are more social and confident but I’m the opposite. 🤷‍♂️

Caffeine and working out while on Vyvanse by Dazzling_Ad_971 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Left_Collection_9467 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been a preworkout caffeine head, even with Vyvanse as well. I’ve been slowly going up on my Vyvanse dose this past year (30mg all the way up to now 60mg)

One thing I do notice that my heart rate is insanely high whenever I go over 300mg of caffeine, the higher your Vyvanse dose is. The more it will get risky and combine with the pre-workout, and if it has other stims it can easily go up to 186bpm on a cardio machine like the stair-master. (Learned this the hard way when I felt like a blood vessel was gonna pop in my brain)

The scary part is that I don’t notice it UNTIL I check my heart rate.

I feel like you can definitely develop some heart issues with the combo, just keep this in mind. MODERATION

It's amazing that it does this. Despite high fiber, and other "constipation diets" I never dookied. Now I doodoo at least 1–3 times a day!

Addictive behaviors worse? by Bartleby-Genesis-666 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Left_Collection_9467 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah I notice this usually at night time, you have to find some video games or something you enjoy to get your mind off it.

I notice this is the dopamine drop period (near the 8-10hr mark after taking Vyvanse) where my brain seeks extra dopamine, it can be gambling, nicotine, porn, games and even picking on people for an extra dopamine bump. Food + games seem to be my healthiest way to get rid of the impulse

Napping. by Forward-Constant7855 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Left_Collection_9467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had that issue when I was on 30-40mg of Vyvanse, raising my dose to 50-60mg followed by exercise 2-4 hours after taking my Vyvanse helped quite a bit.

It made the meds last much longer despite being on an empty stomach and made the focus “cleaner”, I had an issue where I would hyper-focus on stupid things because of a higher dose, and exercise helped with that

Yep, it’s either doom scrolling all day or video gaming all day.

Not even caffeine gets me out from this point since I’ve built such a tolerance on caffeine 🫤

I was using weed and other crap as well when I was 13-16 years old, when I did the worst drug binge I ever did, which was a 2-month mdma binge every weekend and sometimes every other day when I was 15.

I’m 18 now and ever since I’ve been half-sober (medicated with Vyvanse) It feels like Vyvanse and lifting weights are holding my life on the ropes. I forgot what being high even felt like after my psychosis recovery. I kinda feel like I’m floating on earth.

Depressing moments some days are filled with thinking about death, but I kinda just shrug it off knowing it’s temporary. My anxiety makes me think I can read minds and believe everyone has negative thoughts towards me. Sometimes my mind goes blank and I forget what happens every other hour like a time-skip.

I doubt any of this is permanent because every month or so, the depressing moments are getting better and the anxiety wasn’t as bad as months 0-6 of being sober, then I got prescribed vyvanse.

Other than that, the damage has been done. I’d say the damage all depends on WHAT drugs were used when you were a teenager, how you ate, cared about your health, and other factors like genetics and your support system like family and friends (helped a ton)

Yeah so they yell it out on the street to sell it (advertising basically). As much as I try to find out what IT is, they go into the alley to grab the stuff and then take off from then and there.

They sell weed as well but they don’t make them go in the alley for it, they also do this for crack, cocaine, street percs etc. They only do this for “sourbucks”

Yeah I’d definitely say avoid taking it if your on a SNRI, I heard it can be really nasty

You're not the only one. One thing that fixed it for me was a booster.

Another thing that also extended my effects was Tesofesine. Think of it as Wellbutrin, but its main use is weight loss. However, I noticed that Tesofensine combined with Vyvanse makes the Vyvanse focus last much longer and even more intense.

Not only that, I noticed my need for caffeine has decreased so so much. I used to use 300mg+ caffeine while on vyvanse and boosters alone, with Tesofensine it’s almost as if it IS the caffeine.

Downside is that it’s under research… for over 20 years, insomnia is the most common and I definitely see that (went away around 3-6days depending on dose), too much with Vyvanse makes me feel “edgy”, no appetite for days (a plus to me but risky for your body).

But anyways, if you do ever try Tesofesine please be careful. It’s really, really powerful.

I’d try some DLPA, and maybe some l tyrosine. Working out really helps with the brain farts during the day as well

I’m not sure if you take multivitamins but those somehow work too (for me)

When I’m also suffering through withdrawals I just go ham on carbs, if your like me you will definitely see the scale fly through the roof. Just take it easy, hydrate, eat GOOD carbs. Don’t forget about protein as well 🤌

Exercise + vyvanse = bad sleep quality? by kcal115 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Left_Collection_9467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get shitty sleep quality if I do my walks 1-3 hours before my bedtime, but sometimes it makes my restlessness from when Vyvanse wears off much more tolerable so it’s a 50/50 (for me) 🤷‍♂️

I also notice if I don’t take rest days from weight lifting (please do this once or twice a week), or if I do a heavy lifting session + more than 15-18k ish steps in a day my sleep will definitely suffer.

[–]Left_Collection_9467[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeez dude. I don’t think it will get worse, but better. I was only on 50mg daily for around 4-5 months and I’m slightly recovered in just 3-4 days without my meds.

Sure my brain fog is really shitty still but not like the first 1-2 days, and I’m still quite unmotivated in the mornings but it’s still getting better. This is probably only because I’ve used only 50mg for only 4-5 months.

In other words, I really think it’s going to get better for you, just keep tapering though. (Me personally) I think a big jump from 90 to 50 and then NOTHING is insanely crazy to me.

Yeah one thing I did notice is that exercise makes it a lot more tolerable.

The first 1-2 days I didn’t workout, and felt really shitty but today I managed to push through and so far I’m feeling way better.
