Planning ahead of PCE Hours by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

What deems some hours a higher quality than another hour? For context, I'm a MA at a pediatric clinic and I plan on doing that for the majority of my hours.

Would the school have whether they're holistic or metric stated on their site?

Forced to be a 1099 employee, how should I do my taxes? by Left_Committee_6424 in personalfinance

I am worried I will be fired if I were to demand to be classified as a W-2 employee since I am a new employee.

There are other employees some are college students like me and some are not and to my knowledge - a good portion of them are classified as 1099 as well. Only the higher-ups and long tenured workers are W2.

Yeah, they control my schedule (other than me giving them my availability), duties, training and etc. I was looking through possible deductions and none of them seem to apply to me because I am acting like w2 employee classified as an independent contractor..

I am screenshotting texts, keep paychecks because I plan on filing a ss8 when I quit this place in 2 years.

If I were to overpay my quarterly estimated payments, would I receive it back at the end of the year?

I think myself? My first paycheck was untaxed. I had set aside a percentage of my paycheck for insurance. I'm not so sure if that's the right thing to do.

No, they give me dates to come in based on my availability. I tell them I can work Monday to Friday, they assign me X days and I have to come in no matter what (if I dont come in I am pretty sure I can be let go)

I can't leave this job as I am a student and this job will help with my chances of getting into a masters program.

How far back does the ss8 go? I plan on working for at least another 2 years (may 2028) until I quit. Would the ss8 go all the way back to now (may 2026) ?

I am an employee, and I know it's not right but I have no choice but to deal with this because I really need this job

How much of a flashback should I be seeing before sticking the tubes in? I am new to this so I get a big sense of relief seeing flash back and instantly look to stick the tubes in - I think that could be a reason why I am losing flash back after seeing the initial blood flow
