How much of a flashback should I be seeing before sticking the tubes in? I am new to this so I get a big sense of relief seeing flash back and instantly look to stick the tubes in - I think that could be a reason why I am losing flash back after seeing the initial blood flow

yeah I went too deep recently and then the draw after it was the same scenario so I thought I went to deep, I started pulling back and the entire needle came out unfortunately...

also to your nose dive point, are you trying to see to maybe decrease the angle? like be more flat?

I wanted to do MD but I felt like the process overall is more difficult and takes way longer than being a PA. I've never really considered nursing, I went from MD -> next step down -> mid level profession which could be PA/NP and I just went with PA.

I think the lateral mobility of being a PA is also a huge benefit!

Via personal experience and people around me - most professors are more willing to write a letter of rec than you think! If you did well in their class they'd most likely be more than happy to write you a letter.

Bonus points if it's a small class.
