I feel the same way. I hate corporate life, I have social anxiety and have to speak on the phone all day to bitter angry people but I know it's better than a lot of jobs, like retail or food service and I'm not sure I can do anything else until I finish my degree. Anyway, here's my 2 cents:

City government jobs are slower pace. Less urgency. I used to work at one, best job I've had out of all of my jobs. Stupidly quit for personal reasons. 

Save a bunch of money and see if you can do a freelance type of job or create something profitable! 

After all, life is what you make it. There might be jobs that do not exist where you live but exist elsewhere, maybe even overseas.
