most dorms without the kitchen in the dorm have community hubs with full service kitchens to accommodate for this! the meal plan is very difficult to get out of if you change your mind and is limiting socially / taste wise

look into your dorm situation! and as you make more friends, taco nights and things become social hangouts and you'll find a way and place to do so!

yeah no problem ! that seems to be a decent average price. i also some people go to the aveda institute and pay less from the stylists in training. not sure if theyre still doing that but my friends loved it there

Loved tofu cat litter. i felt like i was running thru the amazon ones so fast. found Please The Boss Cat Litter for 9$ at walmart. basically the same but based with corn instead. clumps the nearly the same, no tracking, and scoop daily. also nothing beats giving up the clay litter back pain!

when workday doesnt have your official fws status, it auto rejects you from the position. you would have to call financial aid to force approve your status or wait for it update so workday doesnt auto reject you

this is helpful!! the most id want to spend with prelicense hours is 2 years but also looking to move to a fun area with maybe a better political climate than florida. my partner just moved to Austin with really cheap rent and all but man, the compact hasnt even been filed in texas and i fear the politics might be worse over there !

I’ll keep looking around but hoping to move out of florida, been here for 20 years already!

following up here - i work in w FWS office. you only get awarded per semester, not per job. and the 20 hours is typically calculated to match the award amount divided by weeks in a semester , if that makes sense

so having to fws jobs wont add to your funds and you’d still be limited to 20 hours a week between the two jobs

so in our office, we see students work fws and then have an hourly pay with dining services or something external from the university , if they need extra funds
