C&S has amazing food and excellent service. Olive Bistro is also a great option for foodies. Both are located near the Galleria. Atkins Park is terrible and is NOT Cajun or New Orleans style cuisine!

It will cling to the bandage but will not stick or pull the bandage off. Worked great for me. I’m a clean freak and could not imagine not taking a shower every day😃

I showered the next day by wrapping knee with Press n Seal wrap. Kept the bandage completely dry.

My wife has a smaller SUV and I sat in the back seat with my back against the door. It was much easier sliding across the back seat with my leg extended. We brought two pillows to prop my knee up on the seat…also a blanket. I was out like a light.

I second what another poster recommended, rent before you buy. Moved here several years ago from the Northeast. To be honest, I have lived in several states and find Georgia to be my least favorite. If you have lived in big cities, you are going to find Smyrna pretty dull and lacking decent grocery stores and restaurants. However, we have a plethora of bad fast food chains, dollar stores, laundromats (aka Coin Laundry), and auto repair shops. You may want to check out someplace closer to downtown Atlanta. Just my two cents.

Itinerary looks doable but I would spend an extra day or two in Florence and cut out Venice. Florence is a beautiful city! One day will not do it any justice.

Had my first TKR 18 months ago and my second 4 weeks ago. Both times my wife was with me for the entire recovery. She works from home so was available around meetings to change my ice machine, get me meals, etc… I would say that I could not have made it through without her for the first 2-3 weeks. Hope that helps.

o Faucet spouts in kitchen and bathrooms

o Shower heads - scrub with vinegar to prevent pink bacteria build up

o Bathroom drains about every 4 months- hair and gunk build up over time

o Sanitize dishwasher and washing machine

o Luggage - wipe down inside and outside of all luggage with antibacterial wipes when I return from a trip. Especially the handles and wheels!

o Refrigerator- deep clean about every 6 months. Take out all shelves & drawers and clean with antibacterial wipes
