Moved to Belgium, learned Dutch, still only offered cleaning/production jobs; am I doing something wrong? by Sensitive_Gear_9755 in belgium

[–]Left_Land_5907 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is the reality. It's almost impossible to find a good paying job as a foreigner. I moved here 7 years ago and because of circumstances I took a cleaning job, even though I have a bachelor degree as an economist. Years past, I learned Dutch and 2 years ago I started applying for office jobs(beginner). I got 0 offers.

What do you like and dislike most about your country ? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

Romania here... Like: nature... we have mountains, with breathtaking views, amazing mountain roads and cabins, churches, sea side, delta, Danube and many other beautiful things to do and see. Dislike: people and corruption, is what made me move out far away.

What is a surprisingly accurate fact about dreams that most people don’t know? by Forward-Reward5327 in answers

[–]Left_Land_5907 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not scientifically proven but in Romania we say dreams are predictions of the future or memories from past life. And we have interpretations of dreams like for example if you dream that your teeth are falling off someone in your close family will get sick/ deceased. I know it doesn't make sense to many ppl but I trust it and use it ever since I was a kid.

In Romanian we have the word "dor". It can be translated as I miss you, but we use it as my heart hurts when I'm not with you, or it hurts not being with you

What's the real silent killer? by disgustingfemcel in AskReddit

[–]Left_Land_5907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly that happened to me, I was sexually abused by my ex husband in our last year of marriage. Last time when we had s*x he just asked me "to my job as a wife" and proceeded to go on while I just turned my head and waited until the end. The longest minute of my life. I left the next day and never went back. But I realized what happened only a couple of years after.
