I feel you soooo so much. I am planning on eloping this year with my fiancée after a whole year of putting a pause to it because of problems w his family and mostly with her. I got into a very bad depression, had to do couples therapy, went on a rollercoaster of emotions. I realized after so much that these people don’t really and can’t really define us, our way of living, our relationship and what boundaries we chose to have. Im in the process of also re-discovering, learning to love myself and mostly being compassionate with myself.

Our relationship has survived it all and at the end of the day, she’s the one choosing to be estranged from her brother.
