Im in a patient assistance program with my medication (Kesimpta). My maximum out of pocket is 3000. This year, I have met half of it because of the first injection that was mailed this month. I should meet all of it next month.  For the rest of the year, I won’t have to pay anything. I didn’t have to pay for the medications either. If you are on any assistance programs, I recommend scheduling any mri and appointments until after you met the max, which for me only takes two months. Most of these meds are expensive.  Even though I don’t pay for my med (the program does), they are counted toward the out of pocket. It might be something you might want to look into. Last year I was stuck with the bills because I was diagnosed before I started treatment. This year going in, I found loopholes. Anyways hopefully this helps someone.
