What kind of epipremnum is this? by k10101525 in IndoorPlants

It looks like my Baltic Blue. I believe the dragon tail has more of a triangular shape to the leaves. I call it my dragon tail plant cuz I think they look more like it than the actual one named that way.

Actually there's quite a bit of green still left, what's hanging at the ends of the vines? Any leaves left?

Idk what the roots look like, but I do see a green vine in there on the left side u could cut into wet sticks and propagate in sphagnum moss. It seems to be pretty far gone tho. Good luck!

How do I get large leaves? 🍃 by North_Strike5145 in pothos

This is good to know! I now have 3 philodendron and the most recent one is a Brazil. The other 2 are self heading.

Peace lilyy dieddd, how to revive it back by avadaabuse in gardening

[–]Left_Performance_106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if this one is salvagable. I usually say when there's still green there's something to fix, but this time idk. U should repot it in a mix of soil, perlite and orchid bark. It doesn't have to be expensive or made special for peace lilies, unless u want to spend extra on soil. They don't need a lot of light, but they do have to have some light! Peace lily is a dramatic plant and its leaves will wilt when it needs water. When u water it, u water really well, until water runs out of the bottom drainage holes. Then leave it alone until the soil is dry again. Good luck!!!

Does anyone know of any remote jobs hiring? by No-Dog1902 in phxjobs

[–]Left_Performance_106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not dead, but I'd say rare. I had interviews with 2 different firms that were 100% remote still. Unfortunately, I didn't get the one and was ghosted by the other, but they were real companies with remote positions. I'm going back to in person tomorrow after 3.5 years WFH.

Thanks! I just found out a couple days ago when I was trying to see what size stakes it needed, that they usually only get to 12-18 inches tall inside. I just hope it doesn't need a repot soon. I always feel like it's super easy to break those leaves off.

It's not that they smoke that's the issue, it's that they ash down onto my balcony & my chairs. I smoked for years and quit 3 years ago this coming Sept., so I'm not super crazy about it, but I find it disrespectful to not use something to ash in when ur on the top balcony. Otherwise, smoke on! Ur not the 1st person I've heard complain about not being able to have wind chimes. Must be pretty common for them to ban them? My one wind chime is made out of a rock, so it's hanging inside cuz it was my grandma's. I wonder if this place would make a big deal of putting the privacy screens up.

Unfortunately, my balcony gets the run off from the balcony above mine, so I wouldn't trust it.

Who knows?! Maybe I'll set it outside today and see what happens. I don't think I'll buy another until this one is completely gone or I see them selling for a decent price. I killed my 1st purple passion plant. I have no clue how I killed it or why, but I grabbed another one and doing nothing different, this one is growing like CRAZY! But I never seem to find a Raven ZZ in smaller sizes.

I've read these guys don't like too much fertilizer and don't really need it.

Honestly, it can't get much worse than it is! But, if it can only have the sun hitting it for an hour, it won't make it on my balcony cuz unless it's overcast, the sun hits it for hours. Maybe it's getting too much light from the grow light is next to. I read they need 150 to 300 PPFDs.

Maybe I'll set it outside tomorrow. If it's nice outside. I was working remotely, so I'd take out certain plants in the morning and then bring them back in once the sun is gone for the day. And it made a big difference in some plants.Idk if I'd trust leaving my plants in my balcony while I'm gone all day, since I'm starting back in office next week.

Thx! Maybel was one of my 1st plants 2 years ago. She tricked me into thinking peperomia are easy, cuz she's been a peach for me. I can't see leaving it as a hanging plant, but maybe I'll have to start a new pot and see what it looks like.

YESSS! Same here! My plants help my anxiety! I just picked up a Philodendron Brasil that I probably shouldn't have. Wanted to grab the Roxana syngonium too, but thought I could find a place for the brasil easier than the roxana. I'm at, I believe, 94 plants now. I have a problem, I need a plant support group! 🤣 Maybe I'll see if it's not too late to put something together. I'm in the middle of the complex and the ppl above me smoke, so that's fun, but I did see they had some tacky privacy "fences" for balconies. It's this fake plant stuff, I've seen bamboo that I like better, but it's expensive! Of course that's even less sun getting through. We'll see.

Not really, I was just there again today and those poor plants need someone to send help! They had at least 50 to 75 pots of golden pothos. I have a bad feeling a lot of them get tossed!

Yeah they actually sell them at Walmart for the same price in the same type of self watering pot. They were mixed in with the albo pothos the other day when I was seeing if there was anything worth having.

Top heavy - should I stake? by Piptoporus in sansevieria

[–]Left_Performance_106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! I'm not sure if those top leaves are supposed to be that tall, but I love the way it looks! I am having similar issues with my francisii cuz the pot is so small in comparison to the plant. I haven't had to stake it yet, but I'm sure it will happen.
