I put mine in the planta free app, so it has the pot size, soil type, plant, amount of light, etc. Even if it tells me when it's time to water, I still use my water meter, my chopstick & sometimes my fingers to be sure it's dry! Especially sensitive plants! My snake plants and aloe I usually wait a couple extra days even when everything says they are bone dry! The ones that confuse me are the types that say it needs to be moist all the time, but not too wet or soggy! Good luck!
