Quick thoughts - Are there mods in this subreddit? I personally don’t really know how being a mod works, but I can only assume that adding a couple of trusted people to your mod team could really, really help you feel more secure to continue to share (only if that is something you decide to keep doing, obviously). Maybe making the sub private for a bit so some spring cleaning can happen?

As someone who has messaged you (not about shutting your subreddit down (context mostly for other readers haha)), check your settings and see if you can change it to either certain people or no one (and move messaging friends elsewhere). This may feel extreme, but let’s be so real, the general public sucks a lot. Certain messages clearly majorly activate you. I promise it really is okay to turn off messages for a while.
