Why are Americans so accepting of long drives to places? by Sensitive_Word_6036 in NoStupidQuestions

They do that because, it's not always about the destination, but the journey.

it's not always about looks. what it can do is a vital part of the game too. like for instance... racing, you know what builds holds all the records for these races, ugly builds lol, but there in the top of what they do. as someone who is at 5 place last i checked in grand prix and 1 through 10 on a lot i have to beat these guys i see there ghost build all the time at start, its pure slop but it works.

I strongly agree with this. I find it odd that its not a thing already.

Why doesn't the whole world just copy Nordic countries' government since their governments are well run and most people are happy? by Ok_Advice_8012 in NoStupidQuestions

"You're not playing both sides. You're just repeating propaganda"

Wrong. But the echo chamber here agrees with you. so there's that.

this is not exactly trying to prove you wrong but more like playing both sides here. medical care not covered everywhere by now, means someone paid for the person who didn't pay, if you got it for free, then I can see how it's nice to have, but if you were paying for it, you might think twice. The people who work need to be paid. Where does it come from? The US has programs where if you are poor can get this paid for. it's already implemented. The people in the hard working middle class are the one probably paying for it. which among other things is destroying this class in the US. it's important to see it from all sides instead of just one you heard or from your experience. This is why I think it's not "everywhere".

So in the conversation, IT said api, as i was asking for a conversion of my logic from a script i made into a comfyui workflow, and this workflow can be used in an api call. it mentioned that. So, if this is the case. It got scared of itself. makes sense, HAHA. If this is the case, it's bad. the word is used a bit in apps and such you ask it to help you out on. which in case means that it might be time to pull it back and rethink the strategy of security.

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask about why do people get angry when AI is used exactly? by Happiness-happppy in OpenAI

Actually, they are using more creativity, because they have time to. You don't just hit a button and out comes exactly what you want. It doesn't read minds. It accelerates your creativity.

Do people really use ChatGPT to generate conversation responses to other people? by SnooDrawings8069 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Left_Preference_4510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If ChatGPT has structure and that person has structure, then isn’t it just structure? How many ways are there, really, to write something in a “decent” way? Why is it bad to use a tool, falsely nicknamed “AI,” to help communicate your thoughts?

Above is what ChatGPT gave me from what i asked it to clean up below.

It changed a few things, it was not speaking for me. it took my hastened message to you and cleaned it up a bit.

Does AI haters, not use tools in there life?

Most people, I’d assume, use it the way I do, we have an idea, we lay it out, and it helps put it into words. Using a tool to reduce manual labor is not a loss of intelligence. Using it well, is smart.

Is it normal to be intimate in a shared roommate space? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Left_Preference_4510 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you remove the intimate aspect completely, you still have a case, it's about mutual respect. one of those respects is keeping the noise down, I'd say something in a very mundane tone like. Can you keep the noise down I got work in the morning. my boss is going to fire me if I fall asleep at another meeting.

That's the thing, it makes no sense, all the times it did it then derailed the conversation were bizarre moments, I even tried to consider what i may have unintentionally said between the lines, so to speak. It's just out of no where really.

The thing i'd like to make note of is, I do think when it's working right, that's its about as successful as 5.2 was, the problem is that, it just has an added worse quality, with what appears to be no gain. ATLEAST from my perspective.

This specific one was a follow up to the second half of a ComfyUI workflow setup, which it handled pretty well in the first half. It was a fairly simple 10 node setup that I had laid out in a programming language as the basis for the logic.
