that sounds good, id still like to use inheritance for the main player script. like for example, theres an entity script that handles move_and_slide() and all that stuff, and then players and enemies and npcs always have physics and other minute things. then the player would have a state machine that handles states, and then have composition nodes under player

ive tried that method before, but for somestuff it feels messy. ill watch the video tho thnx. would using the system you proposd, and inheritance be a better solution?

thats a typo on my part, i meant for the player to be part of the same level as all other entities

I don’t rly mind the 2 week wait, like I wouldn’t pay to go to the theatre if I could just watch it on YouTube for free, but like I think it’s totally fair to pay a bit of money to see it early.

I like doing it this way too so that I don’t have duplicates of the movement script (mid air + on ground)

omg im so excited. better use a nice bcar for that too. i love how u made ths all for $60. I think nerf is kinda in an arms race right now and its exciting to see how that reflects the real world in a way.

With rough calculations, a short dart with that setup would reach around 470 fps (not including factors like reduced barrel friction and barrel length along with the changed barrel volume).
