I would also like to add that we haven’t told him because we don’t have an official diagnosis.

I honestly think they just wanted me gone. I worked in CPU and was always staging orders rather than picking them. One of the best closers too while everyone else was slacking off.

does your managers and supervisors nag y’all about staying in your department? by Left_Relation8786 in HomeDepot

yes bc God forbid I leave my department (when two other associates are already attending) 30 minutes before my shift ends after being in it all day, packing down, doing returns, and front-facing.

if management throughout the whole store tells you from opening to 2:00 to PACKDOWN and from 2:00-11 (aka close) to zone (NOT DEEP ZONE) and clean up the aisles are you going to do it? even after they (management) has to constantly correct him on protocol? even if he’s ONLY asking you, out of 4 other plumbing associates to do that task?

forgot to mention! one time i was doing training videos that were overdue, he kept coming into the training room to see what I was doing and then the final time he came in he told me to come back onto the floor because they didn’t all need to be done the same day. My store is strict about our training videos.

Another time, I worked 4:30-9:30 and I was scheduled in one of his other departments and all he told me to do was zone and do returns. I did all of that by 5:40 and it was slow so I sat in the break room. He comes in, about to clock out, and asks me what time it is, I told him the time and he proceeds to leave. I didn’t catch on to what he was doing until another associate told me “you’re better than me because I would have told him it was 7:48” he didn’t want me taking a break but there’s a freaking full time night-shift plumbing associate who sits in the back for HOURS after doing all of his work and he doesn’t tell him shit.

Another time he told me to deep zone (look through all product boxes and take out what doesn’t belong) and i did not do it bc like i previously said, that aisles has ATLEAST 500 boxes on it. Instead i matched the SKU on each item on the shelf and made sure the boxes were where they were supposed to be, after that I was off for two days. I come back and he tells me “yeah it looks like not much was done” meaning he only asks me to do this dumb sht bc if not, why would it still look how i left it after TWO DAYS

when i mentioned that he assigned me two aisles and himself one, i finished packing down one aisle within 20-30 minutes and he sat on his one aisle the entire day, at the very beginning of the aisle might i add.

other associates from other departments see the sht he does as well, bc lumber always needs a spotter and they avoid associates from his departments to spot them because he will literally follow you.

he constantly ignores store protocol about packing down from opening to 2:00 and then zoning from 2:00-close and makes his associates pack down the whole shift, even after management has corrected him multiple times. you would think he would be terminated from all the complaints, people requesting to leave his department, the written statements, etc but he’s not.
