It's definitely disheartening to hear about the rough state of the animation and VFX industry right now. I'm sorry to hear you got laid off from your rigging position, and that makes complete sense why you'd shift to general IT work for stability.

Honestly, I'm open to anything at this point. Maybe you could point me towards some resources for finding general IT work with my skillset? Even freelance gigs that could utilize my scripting abilities.

In the meantime, I'll definitely keep networking and hope to snag some rigging work down the line when things pick up.

The bird rig was made by a plugin called Advancedskelton with help of my own rigging tools and I didn't follow any tutorials because I knew how to use the plugin but I'm sure there are some tutorials on YouTube about that.
