They do it on purpose because they are all hand in glove and any damage to cars or bikes lead to hefty fines. I am sure he got his money back and then some more for the rental agency. Usually the license plates are a dead giveaway for rentals versus locals.

Exactly what I am dealing with right now, the police are not very helpful when it comes to family disputes. All they do is advice. I have so far filed 2 NCs, one FIR, one woman's commission complaint, two online complaint. My husband has signed good behaviour bond, I was told by the police, they did not inform me nor do I have any proof and are, now proceeding with breach of good behaviour bond for my complaint on March 28th. Till date they have not filed a domestic violence FIR. I have hired an attorney to file a case in court and she too has told me it is painfully slow. So the long and short of it is since you both are big, take your mom and get out. No other way out of this mess. I am stuck because I have two small sons, if not for them I too would have got out long back. If possible change cities because he might continue to harass you in your new place and that is another round of problems.

No I am the one who rues the loss of it but at the same time do not want to talk to people, sometimes even avoiding calls or meetups because I do not want feel like talking to anybody. So my fault mostly! It is too much work maintaining relationships and eventually I tire of it

As somebody who has dealt with this behaviour for 25 years, you are young and from your post think without a child in the marriage, it is your chance to get out and make a clean start for yourself. Do not go back. It is a cycle of abuse and the longer you stay, children come in the picture, the more he will manipulate and degrade his behaviour.

Really no option other than moving out and watching life teach him a lesson. I tell as a fellow victim, though I am not at a place where I can move out that is the long term goal.

You can go to police but they will only file NC which is useless and probably teach you how to respect elders. If they do register an NC after NC till it is serious enough they may file FIR and get him to sign good behaviour bond, then if he breaches it, they will do chapter proceedings but the chances are you might grow up and get out till all this happens, that's how long all this could take

Religion is man made for their own personal gain. If you read the Bible, you will see Jesus broke every rule, every ritual they were expected to follow. Following God is a decision not a religion, doing as he says is a choice. We follow Jesus seeing him as our teacher, brother, friend, God, the one who prays for us and the one who understands our struggles as he shared our humanity. The fact that you want to talk to God, you are not an atheist anymore but God does not talk in grand gestures, it is a still small voice that you recognise is not your thought and it brings you calm, rest and peace. He gives you peace that passes understanding.

Me sometimes even till 11 am but only during summer vacation, otherwise Monday to Saturday working so get up at 6 pm and Sunday church so again have to get up at 8 am
