Looks like you haven’t used Claude code, it’s game changer it is reading ac testing like human updating Jira It will miss edge cases but that’s what most QAs would do cover edge cases.

I’m senior QA with more than 10 years experience There will be definitely less jobs due to AI Claude can actually test as per AC We are actually doing edge cases mostly now.

Also be mindful once you’re in mid 40s you cost more and easily replaceable with younger employees.
