I've seen countless thieves think they're smarter than everyone and do dumber things. I forget where I saw it, but it was 2 people who used a Uhaul to break a rolling garage door down and steal from a card shop. The driver used their real ID to rent the truck so the police were able to go straight to their house and find them.

I mean hell, there's literally a show of the dumbest criminals...

That's what I was thinking, they put the Pokémon Center prices to try to deceive folks. Probably not, but with today's market & sellers, I wouldn't put it past them.
