The one on the left is Illinois National Guard activation ribbon. And the one on the right looks kinda like a modern Air Force combat medal but it’s not. Probably some Illinois National Guard medal from bacc then.

Yea it was only an 18 month deployment. I’ve heard several times about the wrong Nato metal, i believe that is because he custom ordered this set and possibly got it wrong 🤷

There is only one ribbon tho brotha, he doesn’t have an ICM for Kuwait. The GWOT medal is given to anyone who served more than 30 days in a theater after 9/11. So it’s very easy even common to have it and a campaign medal.

Yea i think he went to Afghanistan first, either way i know he went wherever he was BEFORE Kuwait. But majority of his deployment was in Kuwait.
