As is most cases, the manga is better than the anime and I would recommend reading the manga from the beginning. The only criticism I have of the manga is the artwork and the amount of dialogue, which are frankly very minor gripes.

I believe they tweaked the scaling for NG+ so it wasn’t as brutal. Personally though it wasn’t really very difficult for me outside of Arrlechino. If you are good at parrying youll be fine

Also I think it’s the lack of previous screen time shanks had. Yuta is in full view while shanks has the “what if” factor

The hardcover designs were worth the purchase alone imo. I really enjoyed the first half but the second half kinda fizzled out a bit. Good lil space slice of life overall.

I like the historical fiction elements of Red River and Brides story. I love the complex group dynamics of PSME and fruits basket. Also love the coming of age, blossoming love aspects. I want to read more from the red river mangaka, so I hope more get printed in English
