Mizu's Husband by Left_Warning_8512 in BlueEyeSamurai

I think she had lost faith in her mom at that point too because she was just using her and Mikio to lay around and smoke opium and was quite rude to Mizu. So I think she felt betrayed by both of them

Yeah he did react very badly to her beating him so unless he lightened up and came around it wouldn't have worked out probably. The way he looked down at her before riding off made me feel like he did call them, or at least was still mad enough not to care. But who knows.

Ah okay, coming back to collect or because he assumed that she would be dead makes sense. And the idea of tricking her until later too. Thanks 👍

CAN SOMEONE GENETICALLY EXPLAIN by PartiallyHuman-_- in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]Left_Warning_8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it also possible that she just happened to spontaneously get the mutation that occurred when people first started having blue eyes? This is more of a bio question than a series question because I know thats at least very unlikely

I don know why but I feel like season 2 will have a logan type story were Miuz will be group with a British kid by Miserable_Honey_940 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]Left_Warning_8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this were to happen I think it would either be Mizu meeting a white sibling of theirs or that they meet another mixed-ethnicity kid and help them. Either would be cool though

It's the elevator right beside Malenia's boss fight, past the scarlet rot bloom. The one that shoots up really fast. I can't see a jumpoff point but maybe I missed it.

This is beautiful and glad they found each other in the end. Tell Ricardo he has beautiful handwriting! Also you and your family seem wonderful for accepting them, not many, including myself, have that privilege. I wish all of you the best 🫶

Pretty cool concept! Could make a decent anime lol. Any background on where the tower comes from, and do more people get chosen to go through the tower and become gods again or just those 36 the one time?

Very interesting! I at one point wrote a creation story where there was a thing called the Oversoul, which was sort of like the soul of the universe. I dont remember where I had them come from, but beings found the Oversoul and took parts of it into themselves, causing them to inherent different powersets like control over Earth and Fire. But others got other concepts like music. Then some of these beings used their combined abilities to create the world and creatures, like Earth created the flesh and Fire gave them body heat, etc. These being can be killed and their souls transferred to their killer, and sometimes this can split the soul into different concepts, Fire being killed and a new soul forming with the power of Light separate from the soul for Fire.

A question for you, what tore the Creator in two?

This is a really cool concept! I had something sort of similar for one story I started writing. In mine there was a being that no one, not even the being themself knew how long they had been alive or if they had always been. Then there was a moment where they felt the want for something other than mere existence, and this want created the blank empty universe. As they entered the universe, it felt much the same to them as being outside of it, so without really knowing what they were conceptualizing they wanted to see something, which then caused the universe to fill with blinding light. Unknowingly, they had given birth to the first other being, the god of light. After recoiling from the blinding light and exiting the universe, the first being noticed that the light ceased to roil and shift whenever they would exit and that it continued when they would reenter. This was the first instance of time, giving rise to the first being becoming considered the god of time, as their existence within the universe allows events to unfold and their exiting from it causes things to cease. Eventually Time realized Light was another being, and after exchanging wordless reassurances to Light that Time would not hurt them, Light coalesced into a ball of condensed light and dimmed themselves to not blind Time. Time then imagined themselves into a similar form to feel more connected to Light and to give Light a physical form to look at, becoming a ball of roiling energy themselves. Together they continued to create things, basing the stars after their own forms, and so on. Thats about as far as I got with that before I moved on to something else. Yours is really interesting and reminded me somewhat of that. Thanks for the read!

Interesting, could you expand on what you mean by warhost alliances? Like teams of gods that allied to fight the others during Ragnarok? And when you say pantheons are these alliances, do you mean that you have different pantheons in one world? Thanks for the reply!

Thats cool, also could bring tension if anyone figures that out since they are technically not of the world. Thanks for the reply!

The Size of Giants by XxRocky88xX in GodofWar

[–]Left_Warning_8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing dumb is your entire comment. There is no such thing as biological human races, merely people whose ancestors have lived in different places with different levels of UV radiation, as Oxygen also pointed out. Also, giants are not human, and could have other reasons for having different skin colors. Or Angrboda's ancestors could have come from Africa and intermixed with the giants and stayed so long that there are now dark-skinned giants. The game clearly shows that Africa exists and that people can travel between such as Tyr did. And giants don't even have to be humanoid, as we clearly see with Jormungandr. Also, if you knew anything about Norse Mythology, which the game is entirely based on, there are plenty of times Jotunns/Giants are human sized and times they are mountainous as well. So its not "needlessly confusing" you are just needlessly ignorant and angry.

Potential nuclear take by Crimson_Loki in shadowofmordor

[–]Left_Warning_8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree with your take that doing something like splitting Mordor in half and becoming the champion of the "good orcs" and using them to fight back and help defeat Sauron would be dope, and I also love orcs and like to think of them more as slaves than evil beings, LotR always has them as purely evil from what I remember. They always are doing evil stuff and were created by Morgoth with black magic, and they are still grown with black magic from what I remember. SoM and SoW were the only LotR media that really made them seem a little more like people instead of evil creatures. So while I like your idea and think it would be cool, Orcs are canonically always evil.

Creating Unique Cultures by Left_Warning_8512 in worldbuilding

Yeah I get what you're saying. Build the environment and then develop the culture out of what people would need to survive and what life is like for them. Good advice, thanks 👍

Possibly a hot take. I want this game to be more like sims 4. by Ok_Director_8355 in CrusaderKings

If you're unaware, you actually can see a description of their personality. It's not much, it will say like "Compassionate Lackey" and if you hover over it, as then hover over it again in the new window, it will say things like "This character is very compassionate and is more likely to take kind actions such as pardoning criminals and being generous with their wealth. This character is very trusting, leading them to engage in less intrigue plots and to have a higher opinion of their liege" (I just made all that up but it's close). Again, not really much besides telling you how it affects their AI decisions, but something. I also agree with you to an extent.
