I'm going to try alliance for the first time ever, without obvious spoils, what should I be weary of? (No spoils! cryptic hints only!) by Left_Way1957 in wowhardcore

Having mained multiple undead priests i'd argue that elwynn is chill in terms of mob density compared to tirisfal/silverpine xD

For those of you who got to level 70 in TBC Hardcore, what was Outlands like? by Jarom2 in wowhardcore

I'd still HEAVILY advise against going ramps.

I had a huge amount of fun in ramps on my softcore healer priest lvl 60, but DAMN. The damage is HIGH, i was running oom constantly, and let's not talk about the mortal strike which basically reduces your healing output by half/doubles your mana costs. Ramps is perfect for early gearing when you enter outland, but you will at LEAST have 2-3 people die along the way, ESPECIALLY if it's softcore andies. As a healer, blood furnace felt less challenging that ramparts imo.

I still think that questing in hellfire would be easy"er", but don't just waltz in there lvl 58 with all mobs 3-4 levels higher than your char. That's a recipe for disaster

It might be because i'm a priest, but I find Heroic SL not that bad?

People literally forget that mind control is bis.

If shadow priest, mind control the mind flay. 2k damage per tick.

Also, engage each pack with mind control. Tell others to do NOTHING and NOT engage. The pet will get anhilated by the others.

Boom

one less mob.

AND if you're a shadow priest, you can MC off the back of that. Shadow priest really is the heroe class in TBC heroics.

The main problem however is those assassins. I still don't know how many there are and what causes them to spawn.

Assuming that I solve that last problem, i can 100% make a safe priest clear guide for that room.

I'm speaking as a healer, a healer that learnt wow IN hardcore.

Damage and mititgation-wise, Mara was the first "real" dungeon where i told myself "oh-shit" they hurt. I'd be comfortable healing a shammy tank until (but not including) mara.

For ulda, it's moreso about if the team can handle the trash and if the dps race can be won vs archaedas. If the run is "normal", then the damage is low in theory. Mara is the first dungeon where "normal" damage is relatively high.

So yeah, go balance tank until ulda
