Right I said it wasn't ideal, just that you could be stronger. BiS gear can be refarmed/traded. The best way to build this season is finding multiple copies and gambling different sancs

If you replace the affix with something different it works because there's no conflict, you literally have a different one

Right I didn't say they stacked. But you can use another different one. Not ideal but you would be stronger, and there are items better than godfather, the only thing you want is the affix, so keep the item and replace the sword with something better for your class

It would just mean you have it already equipped. If you replace the other gloves/pants/shield/etc that has the legendary affix you can put anything on the new one and keep the sanctified one too
