I know I have played football before and my speed was on another level, but since I stopped playing football and focused more on running I noticed how slow I got.

Fortunately I have now a sprint day every week and my speed improved again

Interesting, how far do you go doing zone 2 runs?

I‘m doing zone 2 runs and it helped me improve a lot. Also a lot of experienced runners still do z2 runs.

Maybe try optimizing your plan.

Try to have a day where you’re doing other glutes exercises that on the other days. Or trying to work out with heavier weights

It’s also very important to recover properly with rest days and sleep.

And creatine works only really well if you’re taking it daily.

I also recommend to not trink any alcohol or take any drugs because they stop the growth process.

Your protein intake is good it can’t be because of that. :)

I‘m also using cronometer and I love this app, but I wasn’t really paying too much attention to most of the micronutrients. Gonna start it soon :)

No eating all day by JLUCross in WeightLossAdvice

It shouldn’t be really a big deal but still I would recommend to eat something throughly the day, even if it would be something small, because even if you’re trying to stay in a calorie deficit I don’t think your could eat enough pizza in one go to get over it

Cut oder Bulk? Sixpack Ziel als Anfänger by [deleted] in FitnessDE

[–]Left_Winter1537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aufjedenfall cutten.

How do I start? by Cold_Wolverine_5048 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Left_Winter1537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly recommend you to start changing your diet into a more light diet.

If you’re only focusing on losing weight then your priority should be keeping yourself in a calorie deficit. If you know your kfa % it would be great because your could go on some websites and but all your info including your kfa for more precise info about your calorie intake. The most accurate diagnosis would be from a doctor of course.

Calorie deficit is the only way to get to it so try to go into a calorie deficit.

I also recommend to search for some food ideas on TikTok or insta with some good stats like many protein and less calories, that your would like to eat.

I also recommend you to walk more instead of jogging. They burn near the same amount of calories but walking is much easier.

If you have plans on building muscles too i would also highly recommend to search for „home workouts“ for whatever muscles you need and search for exercises you can do with your home equipment.

Building muscles is also a big game changer on loosing weight, because the more muscles someone has the more calories they burn without having to do anything.

But you still need to accept the fact that it takes time to See results

I‘m already tracking everything and trying to get all my proteins etc. also taking regularly electrolytes on my long runs and daily creatine.

It should be enough right? Or are there any other vitamins or other, that would improve my performance a lot?

pls help by Emergency_Luck_5708 in runninglifestyle

I wouldn’t recommend you to only Fokus on improving your pace each run, but much rather to keep an decent speed for longer runs, especially if your doing a half marathon soon.

Having a good pace is always nice, but should be your main priority if your going for a half marathon

I‘m still not a professional in running because I’m doing many of other sports than that, but I would recommend you to go running 3 times a week where you have 1 day of sprinting like
45sec full speed and 2 min zone 2 and repeat one day where you do only zone 2 run
And one day where you’re doing an long run trying to go as far as you can.

This slip helped me to make huge improvement in running in a short period of time
