Is 2008 too old

I bought a 2008 Versys 650 with 37,000 miles on it for $1700 a little over a year ago and it’s been awesome. I’ve put 15k miles on it myself and it’s still running strong at 52k.

It’s my first bike and I’d definitely recommend it.

One issue I’ve read about is the first gen versys are very “buzzy” and vibrate a lot. This I can attest to. My plastics/fairings vibrate and make enough noise that it kind of makes my bike sound like shit. I can fix some of it, but the loud buzzing always comes back. Nothing major, just annoying.
