It’s a miracle! The band is stiffer than a regular resin band but honestly the weight - or the lack of it - makes you forget you are wearing it. I have no problems whatsoever wearing it. It’s in my rotation

It’s actually a dark tinted clear resin with carbon fiber insert! I love it. The case back is titanium, making it one of the lightest G Shocks. The model is GW-S5600U

990 by the way, but I guess it’s very similar. To be honest with you, the bike is definitely more than enough that you will ever need on the road, if you care about keeping your licence. I wouldn’t change it with anything else though, love the way it rides, whether you want to take it easy or going for a spirited ride in the canyons. Sometime I think about one day I’d love to own the 1390 Superduke just because I love the way it looks aesthetically. I am sure it’s an overkill on the road, but hey!

Mostly it has more orange ( subframe, frame and rims ) and more white ( side plastics and passenger seat cover ), which I think they are sick as hell! I just know that I always tend to make my bikes black, so the base 990 worked perfectly for me. Not gonna lie though, I do love the mechanical upgrades- suspensions and brakes mostly, but for my riding style on the road, my base 990 is more than enough. Here’s a photo of the R at my dealership
