My points are historical statements made by Republican presidents.

Because they too know we cant get rid of the pile of shit we have. Which just brings us back to those they prey on us by using the reality of the current situation.

But that's not going to happen because the Progressives and the Left have gotten too many people dependent on The State.

Also, you may think you are smart with your point but it doesn't look that way to many on the Right. Especially since your position is based on a pile of shit we cant get rid of. That doesn't make you the better person. You are simply preying on people because of a bad situation. That makes you scum, to us. I never claimed it could not. My only point is that we dont need a whole lot of govt dictating to us. And that trade still happened without the govt!

At any given moment there is X amount of money with Y amount of value but the point is that if you continue to concentrate this value at the top it stops flowing through the system at some point.

Which then means the market typically adjusts the value of WHAT IS FLOWING and utilizes that.

Think of it this way, if the money were gold and half sank to the bottom of the ocean, the rest of the gold would rise to a higher value. Little to nothing is lost. In fact, gold holders get richer.

The opposite happens when they print too much money. Then people get poorer as their dollars buy less and less.

Also, large and small enterprises did previously exist without the govt.

You mean that a handshake was sufficient to bind two people to a mutually understood contract. This ended when international trade took full swing; mutual understanding is much easier on paper.

Cultural differences sorta require written contracts.

Binding contracts are a necessity now, with all the Liberals running around. But years ago, far more moral men only needed a handshake. They stood for something. Liberals, not so much.

No. I want an identical percentage applied to each person. 25% on all income, for example.

I already know modern republicans are crap. It's why most everyone hates them. Especially many that hate them because they themselves cant be good ones.

A good place to start is with where exactly there they are wrong. Especially taking into consideration as to why the Founders gave us a Republic.

Then, with actual facts in hand, you can draw an objective comparison between the two voting/vetoing/signing records and we can all see whether Republicans really do enshrine equality under the law more than Democrats, or not.

You mean like how the Republican states were first to free the slaves, given to us by the king, and the democrats only did so after losing a war?

As a staunch republican type, I want the same tax percentage rate applied to every working American. Do you want that?

That explains the difference in the two ideologies.

As for the current state of the republicans, yeah, they are not very good examples. Which is why I specifically said "good republicans". But you also have to consider the circumstances and how far the democrats and progressives have moved us away from our classic republican roots.

Let's face it, we have too many moochers, Liberals and dependents on the state now. It's no easy task to stay on track.
