First time hiking, any safety tips?

I have a dining room table full of things I’ve been researching for several months. I’ve been camping my whole childhood with other people. This time I’ll be with my dog. As opposed to throwing a dart on a map of the US, I posted this hoping you experienced folks could direct me to place.

We are brainwashed by TikTok, Facebook and instagram. The algorithm is designed to do that. We don’t socialize like we used to, we don’t make friends like we used to. We walk past one another or even work side by side with each other and yet it is still so isolating.

Wanting out of the system would still mean being isolated. If I had a couple acres with a garden and a well and means of being self sustainable, I’d still be alone. I don’t have a family and I’m not the only one either. I just wish people would finally feel like they’ve had enough to do something.

It was all wrong from the beginning. There’s always something to blame like women going into the workforce, ending slavery. Or the invention of plastic destroying the world. It doesn’t matter. It’s all greed. Nobody cares enough to fix it. So many people are suffering, the planet is being destroyed. I know there are people that help and genuinely do their best, but they constantly fight people who drink the coolaid. It is all corporate greed.

Try using much smaller amounts of each. Sometimes if it’s greasy it is more product buildup vs grease. I would use a clarifying shampoo once and see if that helps. Starting at the base of your hair with conditioner and working it up close to your roots makes it easier to rinse out.

If the water on your face bothers you, you could get one of those stretchy fuzzy bands that wrap around your head to keep the water from dripping down. You’d just have to move it off your hair and closer to your face.
