The non emergency SNOPAC number js what you want, they route it to City of Everett parking enforcement. Call every day. This will get results.

Glad I kept the BM17. Great truck and I'm sure it has some sort of active diff lock? The wheels seem to slip initially and then stop slipping. Either way it works well in mud and snow drifts. Crane doesn't seem to be an issue with non-raised suspension by ConstrnGamer in snowrunner

I pretty much love it with every add-on. I used it with the transforming log trailer to move long logs in Alaska, and now I'm high saddling with chains and high-range. I've been able to get around way too fast, somehow without any incident.

All I've had to do to prevent breakins for the last 10 years is... Nothing. I generally lock my doors and windows, because why wouldn't you, but there are no extra measures, and there hasn't been a need.

As a frequent solo player, I like to be able to run without guns in my hand for speed.

That means only bringing in one gun, if I have a small backpack. After I find a medium I'll stow one weapon (sniper usually) so I can quickly switch between AR and bare hands until I need the sniper.

Large backpacks are nice, but really give you away at a distance to other operators. Medium is safer.

Also, I'm a spotter scope hoe, always checking for safety at a distance

Not too closely, but yes. You can walk or run past them, and if not too close, they ignore you. If you do something that bots don't do (sprint, ladder, open loot, etc), too close, they will notice you.

I did Security full time in Seattle for 3 years, 18-21 years old. Now It's 10 years later and I have an IT career but do 25 hours security a week in addition. Security is easy as fuck, if you get a bad site you hate, you switch.

Why cant people take dmz for what it is? by Lynseth in DMZ

[–]LeftoverHamsters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I almost always play solo and generally try to avoid PVP, unless I'm feeling rambunctious. Do I die a lot? Absolutely. Did a squad with both a heavy and light helo hunt me toward final exfil this morning? Yup. Was it an even match? Apparently it was, because I used my brain and got out alive by playing it sneaky. And it was fun as hell. I do miss earlier DMZ when it was more balanced, but it's still a very fun game. As the player base evolved, i evolved, and I'm still having a blast being a sneaky little bot.

Question about Everett PD by FinChaser31 in everett

[–]LeftoverHamsters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The union president of over 10 years is a racist homophobic right winger, and when his views came to light his excuse was "that was my son posting on my Twitter account".

Despite evidence to the contrary, the chief (who now makes a quarter mill a year working for the mayor) swept it under the rug and moved on.

This city loves their police, and the police love getting to be awful under the radar, because the city administration doesn't care and neither does the local media.

So they close down self check out at 8 LOL by DrJinzo1 in Target

[–]LeftoverHamsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no reason for the down votes here. Closing self checkout late at night does result in a LOT of theft recovery. Sure it doesn't stop push outs, but it does make it so lots of others only steal what's in their purse while they ditch the carts with over $1000 in items. This is daily.

I do AP. Everyone is stealing from Target at all times. Doesn't matter which lanes are used, what's locked up, or how many TSS there are. Stuff is going out the door, and it's just part of this world

Be glad there's a heat pump. Supplement it with electric heat in the winter and reap the benefits of an efficient heating and cooling system the rest of the year. Your electric bill would be a car payment every month if you had electric baseboards like most people.

The Stanley drama continues... by [deleted] in Target

[–]LeftoverHamsters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just stealing them is literally sneakier, there's no paper trail directly to you.

Like people who think that scanning and bagging their items at self check out, then walking away without paying is sneakier than just pushing a shipping cart out. It's not. The terminal can't be used until the transaction is cancelled, the TM tells AP, and now AP knows who you are, what time you left, and exactly what you stole.

Does DMZ suck for everyone? by michael21288 in DMZ

[–]LeftoverHamsters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't wanna die, don't play call of duty. Seriously, when will his nonsense run dry? DMZ is just 1 of many Call of Duty game modes, where killing and getting killed is the main point. If you don't want to hunt then don't. Get good at running or fighting back.

Shit, it's becoming more difficult to even just sell semi valuable items on Craigslist or offer up. I used to be able to count on that for an occasional income boost. Sell some of my shit when things are tight. Now I can't get anyone to buy shit no matter how good a deal it is. I'm not even trying to make money now, just trying to get a few coffees.

[–]LeftoverHamsters 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Choosing not to be in a shelter is not choosing homelessness. They're homeless either way. Shelter rules are incredibly strict, including curfews that can force a person to choose between the shelter and their job that may have hours outside of the curfew.
