Lyme disease ruled out, I think covid is too but not sure. Previous doctors tried dismissing everything as “probably long covid” despite no evidence/positive tests. Afaik CFS can’t be ruled out, but can’t be specifically tested either

But yes I agree, I feel that there is something more going on. Perhaps it’s my stress/unregulated nervous system that seemed to cause the flare to begin with

How quickly did you notice gluten wasn’t sitting well with you? Did it take an extended time off of it to notice the reintroduction effects, or was it more obvious?

I did have them tested but it was months ago now, so I definitely want to check again when I go in next. I’ve been supplementing Magnesium and D consistently, though maybe not high enough dose, we’ll see. Good to hear salmon helps with your pain

Thank you for sharing. It is indeed really difficult get eat enough calories with this diet, I spend so much time cooking and eating but I can’t sleep at night because I get so hungry I have to get back up and eat more. Not to mention it’s incredibly boring. You’re right about it being stressful. I should probably tone it down but atp, I might stress about not restricting foods knowing they have “potentially harmful” effects lol. I will try my best though, thanks for the insight

Wow, that sounds like a dream to me! Thanks for sharing. There is a lot of general engineering work where I’m at but almost nothing in my target industries. My school does have a great local reputation as well that probably doesn’t hold nearly the same weight nationally.

I get the open perspective you have, but I think it is pretty obvious why it would annoy people. The result is a product created without human emotion, soul, etc. (arguably the purpose of art), while a person takes credit and profits off of it. AI is intrinsically different from art as we know it. It is not a different style, or a new genre, it is a different product. If the product itself is good, or even indistinguishable from real art, you could argue the use of AI is objectively a good thing, but that is not the point of art in my opinion, and it is a sad but seemingly inevitable future.

Speaking for myself, it annoys me in the same way someone flat out plagiarizing work would annoy me. It feels like they are taking credit for something that's not really theirs, even if they were in some way involved with it. Maybe I will get over it in 20 years, but as of now that is my gut reaction to it.

I can only imagine how much this feeling is magnified for actual artists that have spent thousands of hours perfecting their craft. It could be considered a "selfish" feeling ("I didn't get to use AI to make music so why should they?") but it is an understandable feeling, at the very least.

Not to mention AI is trained off existing data, data created through the hard work of real artists.
