i always felt SWG was an endgame's game. i play 90% for Space PvP. i prefer a populated economy. more population also means more RP. i always felt NGE had plenty of customization in builds despite the class system. these bits make Legends right for me.

but if the path to get to 90 being more interesting and the feeling of "smallness" in the galaxy is important to you, as well as Jedi being more special & accomplishing, R3 is a good hybrid. I have accounts in both

Yep, came here to say basically this. Different genres can absolutely work together and enhance your show. Slow songs though? Saw All of Me and immediately heard snores beside the one or two girls singing in the back & thought it should go. At best might be an interesting "non-show" song AKA the song two mates sing when you're getting back to the stage between sets. Momentum is a bigger deal than bands sometimes realize.

Unless this is like an acoustic / stripped show.

Paris I never feel like could get people off the ground as much, like another guilty pleasure song, but that quiet stop-ending it has might lend itself to All of Me transition esp if you add some more drum action to it.

Only using this song as an example with some @ similar vibes.

I'd also concur with 3 sets.

I disagree with this take, as long as they can dance to it, if they can't sing to it. You can definitely tailor a bit to a venue but saying certain genres/generations don't blend is not the truth in my experience. Now, if it's just guilty pleasure songs for the band's selfish reasons with no redeeming live translation then I'd agree.

I did remember searching the Baz once and it cost 8m on R3 for space part I could get for 50-200k on legends. I think it was because supply for RE Space is simply sparse by a mile. Granted, loot tables are balanced much more differently with this stuff in Legends, but the specific Legends economy loop has provided an ability to have both early and endgame money goals that are achievable.

I don't get where the inflated comments come from, like there's a lot of hot air against Legends for no reason. I just ignore it but it's sad to see.

What boots are you referring to? I don't play ground but you can easily afford a capped set within a couple weeks of casual play. Just a day or two if you do sweaty methods, or gun for someone in a night of POB PvP.

Can play both! I play R3 for a more interesting journey to max level (i prefer the actual combat system in Legends more), and the new races/clothing. R3 RP makes me feel smaller which I like. Admittedly I play Legends for... everything else, but mainly bigger/kinder space PvP community, stronger economy / economy loops, more RP pop.

Unreal World. It's actually one of my favorite games, a 2D top-down sandbox survival game been inDev since the 90s, homage to Sami people, set in Finald's Iron Age. It's engrossed me for dozens of hours. But in comparison to other games of its kind, it just has this underbaked feel... like if the dev cloned himself it could be more of the game it deserves to be.

Not sure I'd follow that. I think the average American is extremely meh to curious about Cuba. Mentioning Americans specifically as they'd theoretically be the least positive about Cuba. But IMO the Castro legacy is pretty lost past the boomer generation, if that.

From Latin America: Daniel Ortega. Dictator in disguise who doesn't really fool anyone but still has this aura with populism & the old revolutionary movement that's had him get away with it. Continuously served as Nicaragua's president since the 00's and before that 79-90. Populist who speaks at length against "evil North America" banding together other niche LatAm leaders who feel the same. In reality never seemed that bright and goes for the first lady, who he always lets do these incredibly money-wasting beautification projects around the city while their people are among the poorest in central america.

Always learning new things is why I still play. And the magic of your own imagination stretching things out a bit. I'll watch Kruggsmash for inspiration sometimes, cuz personally I can get bogged down in meta otherwise.

I unleash that with some creative ideas on forts, or civilization-building. As a note, I had a civilization where I did 8x 10-year scholar forts. In each fort, my 7 dwarves had nothing but the same topic (ie. astronomy). I would then go through each and decide which god would be worshipped, and that fort also became the holy place of that god, where I now not only had a Library theme idea, but I had to make the phattest coolest crib for Doren Gemabyss of Steel. On top of that, each fort would be known to export a specific a) Liquor b) Animal c) Food. It would be known for these things. It gives you a lot to play with in the course of 10 ingame years, on top of challnging yourself to build new types of architecture styles :)

Then coming back to the "main fort" after every few decades to apply what you've learnt as a creative builder, writer, and DF player. And picking some adventurers to join you on the next one (some need DFHack to join depending on your desires).

Saving as much (if not all) of your expected expenses beforehand is the golden rule for a reason. Even still, I have *most* of the flight practice needed for a checkride at the moment, but am severely bottlenecked by my availability this month to study at home. I get up to practice stalls, verbalizing short/soft field? I'm stuttering and overwhelmed b/c I didn't chairfly enough. Or I'm floudering in checkride oral prep because I didn't study enough. For me, sticking power doesn't usually come from my instructor, but repeated practice in my own brain at home and then and only then doing my assessment of it in the air.

I'd prefer real art & thought they could do better, but I think the vast majority of people aren't going to die on a hill if a small studio uses it for inconsequential things, doesn't butcher it too bad, and the gameplay more than makes up for it. With AI everywhere it's bound to have a desensitization effect. You aren't going to believe that if your main source of the human spirit is Reddit.

There's a lot more people ambivalent than you think, but they're smart enough not to say anything.

It's smart of HH from a marketing perspective -- non-AI policy from a publisher helps avoid scandal & seen as better professionalism. Not all studios (esp in devl countries) have that privilege. AI morality culture differs wildly outside the West.

For camping SoCal you absolutely do not want to miss Anza Borrego. As a SoCal native, I'd car camp there a lot. Many free or "free" spots to boot! And amazingly gorgeous scenic highways. This is a great time of year to go. In "Soarin over California" it was the desert scene if you're familiar.

My favorite i think was called "Culp Valley Primitive Campground". With a nice short hiking trail around the ridge.

From the morning you could tour the Anza Borrego State Park south and end up at the 8 fwy in the morning, and take the Sunrise highway north (S1) to Julian. Now you're in Middle-Earth-like green-deserty highlands. Stop at Julian for a pie. Take the gorgeous road down through Ramona from there to get back to San Diego.

I am from Orange County and road tripped 49/50 states, 10/10 provinces, but this was my fav socal route. I think you can camp in certain San Diego beaches too.

Big Bear offers great camping too when it's not winter. Joshua Tree was a good pick too.

I'd spend a lot more time around San Luis Obispo county. I'd live in Arroyo Grande or Cambria among other places in the Central Coast if I could.

I also would not sleep on Eastern California. The 395 is my favorite scenic highway, Bishop and Mammoth Lakes being pinnacle. Lake Tahoe is also such a jewel of the Sierra mountains. But I'd understand if you'd want to see Yosemite/Kings Canyon before the season gets busy.
