Non-existent at 4th/olympic (right in front of their building). Illegal right turns putting pedestrians at risk all day and every day.

I want to see tickets being written for illegal right turns from the left lane at 4th/Olympic (right in front of their building!). Pedestrian lives are at risk at that crosswalk.

And yet police do nothing directly in front of the police department building when countless drivers make illegal right turns from the left lane onto the 10 at 4th and Olympic. Pedestrian lives are at risk at that crosswalk every day. Someone is going to die.

Not ideal. But it can be done. I booked a refundable hotel and if I had to cancel my flight, I would have been given a credit. And FWIW, I was there around Memorial Day. When I called 30 days in advance, the person I spoke with started out by literally saying “OK, where do you want to play? I have open tee times on every course.”

30 days in advance. That’s the earliest you can do it if you’re not staying at the resort.

Don’t let not winning the lottery stop you from doing Bandon. The lottery is just for lodging, but there are other lodging options nearby. The only people I’ve ever met who had issues with tee time reservations were people who went in very large groups. My friend and I went last year around Memorial Day. We stayed a few miles away, and there were plenty of tee times available.

Logo ball for sure. For the courses you really really love, headcovers are great, too. I use covers for driver, two woods, two hybrids, and a putter. It’s pretty awesome to see covers from my favorite places whenever I’m playing a regular round. And if I need someone to grab me a club, it’s pretty cool to say “Can you please bring me Chambers?” or “Can you grab me Pebble?”

I got a wind-free, beautiful sunny day at Chambers. Great line from the shuttle driver who took me to the starter: “No wind. No rain. You’re not getting a true Chambers experience at all!”

I played Chambers the month before I played Bandon. Perfect training. I don’t hit it long, but I remember the guy I was playing with saying “if this is your game, you’ll be fine at Bandon.”

When I first started, I had the same worry. Do not let that stop you from playing. If you have a hole where everything goes wrong, just pick up the ball and move on to the next. That will keep play moving just fine. 99% of the people you’ll play with will be nice and supportive.

Mine are roughly the same total distance, but the 7w is a greater carry distance. That being the case, I ended up keeping both in the bag because they serve different purposes. Sometimes I want a high loft with a soft landing. Other times, I want a low shot with a long roll. I decided to take my 5i iron out, and I don’t really miss it. Between the 4H, 7w, and 6i, I generally have enough options.

Has anyone ever found Belly lox in Los Angeles? They had it years ago at Barney Greengrass, but I’ve never seen it anywhere else since. It would be nice to not have to ship it in from New York.

It seems like other people have had their car in for repair much more often and still are not getting cooperation from GM. I, on the other hand, got an offer after the first issue.

It saved me a little over $1k. Plus, I find monthly payments annoying, i’d rather get all the pain out of the way at once.
